Auggie Anderson
- Auggie Anderson: [as Annie gasps] Sorry to surprise you by sitting in the dark. Although for me, it is basically just sitting.
- Annie Walker: [subdued voice, barefoot] What are you doing here?
- Auggie Anderson: You left me a voicemail.
- Annie Walker: I can explain.
- Auggie Anderson: You're going to. Let's get you out of here first.
- Auggie Anderson: You once told me that you didn't have feelings for him. Is that not true? Is that what's driving this?
- Annie Walker: Why do you keep asking me that?
- [he sighs]
- Auggie Anderson: This could get very messy. Are you okay with that?
- Annie Walker: Yeah.
- Auggie Anderson: This is a mistake. But at least we'll make it together.
- Auggie Anderson: [sailing along after their escape] Do you see any tulips?
- Annie Walker: Not this time of year.
- Auggie Anderson: I'm gonna pretend there are tulips. And windmills. One of the benefits of being blind is... I can imagine the way things look, any way I like.
- Annie Walker: [smiles] People, too?
- Auggie Anderson: Of course. One of these days, I'll describe you to yourself. It's a hell of a parlour game.
- Annie Walker: That's a plan.
- [smiles]
- [last lines]
- Annie Walker: What are you saying?
- Auggie Anderson: Timing is everything. I wanted to talk now, Annie.
- Annie Walker: [chuckles] What do you wanna talk about?
- [she closes her eyes as his hand lands on her midriff, glides up over her arm, to her shoulder, her neck... he cups her face... they kiss passionately]
- Annie Walker: I'm glad we're having this talk.
