At Reagan and Chris's house a little boy is singing Tomorrow not well especially compared to Ava who finishes the song very well. Jean invites the Brinkleys to their cabin and they decide to go. Ava cannot go because she is going to Palm Springs. The neighbours they break out into an inappropriate Summer Lovin'. The Brinkley's come to the cabin and Chris is worried about spending time with the Mardins. At the cabin Scott hurts his back after chopping some wood. Reagan goes to see how Ava is doing and decides to join in. Regan gets a call from Chris and he is not enjoying the cabin at all. Reagan decides to stay with Ava at Palm Springs. She finds out that she misses out on trips with Ava so a new one is organized. Chris talks to Jean and learns some more from him about what he does. Reagan is trying to keep up with Ava but is unable. Chris has to get Terrie to forgive Jean but we learn they met when Jean cheated on his current girlfriend. Reagan drinks many energy drinks trying to party all night and Ava notices she is trying to be better then Natasha. Chris has to bring Jean and Terry together to try get them forgive each other telling them about his own personal experiences. Chris is able to get them to be nice to each other again. The next day at the nice Olympics Reagan comes back to to complain about not being close to Ava that much anymore. Reagan looks around her as she sees all the happy people and how they are her people. Just when Reagan is happy Ava comes to try save her. Ava then ends up joining them bringing some alcohol with her. Fun episode and I'm glad Reagan has finally excepted being a mother.
