Rashid gets mad at his son Kamal who has become addicted to gambling and drinking that he is nearly never sober. Ramzy, Rashid's gardener, runs tests to see whether there is hope for him and his wife Najwa to have children. Despite her father's disapproval, Mirva loves Nabil, Rashid's son.

Nabil tries to get Kamal to leave the casino and return home, and Kamal asks Nabil to lend him 5 thousand dollars. For Kamal's ill practices, Rashid considers disinheriting him. Kamal attacks Nada, Nabil's fiancee because she prefers his brother over him.

In light of Nabil and Ramzy's search for them, Rashid and Salma's car is bombed as they are on their way to Beirut. Kamal returns to the now-empty villa where he rapes Najwa. Nabil, meanwhile, collapses when he learns of his parent's death.

4th Episode: Ramzy is concerned over Najwa's fugue state, while Kamal warns her against divulging what he did. Nada slaps Kamal who tries to harass her. Nabil refuses to follow his father's will which requires him to disinherit his brother.

Nabil urges Kamal to get married if he wants to get his share of the inheritance, and the two brothers quarrel. Kamal eventually takes his brother's advice and accepts to marry. Ghassan rejoices when he learns of his wife's pregnancy, while Najwa's pregnancy news falls like a thunderbolt.

Kamal urges Najwa to have an abortion. Laila marries Kamal, and when Nada comes to congratulate them, Kamal tells her he still loves her. Ramzy suspects that Najwa's baby isn't his. An anonymous person breaks into the villa and hits Najwa in the stomach.

Najwa is rushed into the hospital and her baby is miraculously saved. Kamal quarrels with Alaa for failing to have Najwa aborted. Laila gets pregnant, and Najwa is approaching her delivery date.

The bombings in Beirut resume and Nabil's company is destroyed. Nada visits Nabil at the hospital. Meanwhile, a nightclub that Kamal spent all his money on is reduced to ashes, but he resumes his wicked schemes as he asks Alaa to murder Nabil. Mirva meets Nabil, despite Ramy's warnings.

Nabil rushes to bring Nada the midwife, he gets injured in a bombing and Mirva takes him to the hospital; Nabil loses his memory. Nada gives birth to twin daughters. Kamal makes use of Nabil's amnesia and disowns him, much to Mirva's shock.

Alaa's plot to murder Nabil is thwarted as he accidentally murders another man. Kamal leaves the hospital and lives at Mirva and Ramy's place. Najwa buries her secret deep as she refuses to reveal that Mazen is Kamal's son. Kamal kidnaps the doctor to learn where Nabil and Mirva are.

Kamal asks Nada to marry him, but she rejects it. Mirva asks Nabil to travel to Turkey with him, but he insists to return home to his family. Nada is kidnapped, and Nabil's injury gets worse as Mirva rushes him into the hospital.

Mirva sees Kamal at the hospital and suspects that he is behind the killing of Dr. Naiem and another patient. Nada learns that it is Kamal who has kidnapped her and threatened to kill her and her daughters.

Kamal murders Nada's mother. Laila receives a visit from an anonymous person who claims that Kamal has mortgaged the house up to him. An amnesiac Nabil travels to Turkey with Mirva. Kamal takes over the villa and the company; he kicks Najwa out and murders Ramzy.

Najwa breaks down after Ramzy is murdered, but she is consoled to learn that he has given the daughter to a passing car. Kamal puts a reward for anyone who knows where Najwa is. Years pass by, and Salma and Mazen grow up, unaware of Kamal's crimes.

Nabil and Mirva are now married and have a grown-up son. Wassim meets Nabil who now goes by the name Bassem. It seems that time is passing for everyone, except for Nada who has been locked up in the cellar for 20 years now.

Nabil falls unconscious and Mirva takes him to the hospital. Nabil is reluctant about whether he should tell his son Wael about his amnesia. Amir is growing infatuated with Salma whom he met on the ship. Najwa asks Mokhtar to search for Hanady who went missing 20 years ago.

Nabil recognizes Najwa's photo and comes clean to Wael about his amnesia following the accident. Youssef refuses to marry Lamiaa. Amany, meanwhile, falls for Youssef. Kamal and Hanady quarrel.

Kamal tells Amir the story of how Najwa took the jewelry and escaped with the two daughters, and Amir thinks there is something suspicious about the story. Kamal watches Al-Mokhtar. Mirva refuses to allow Wael to travel to Beirut.

Al-Mokhtar informs Najwa that Kamal is watching him. An altercation between Hanady and Salma over parking the car occurs and Salma comes to Amir's notice as he recalls meeting her on the ship. Amir gets mad at Hanady after he sees a flower on the glass of her car.

Kamal refuses to ditch gambling, even if it costs him all his fortune. Amir attacks Wassim and Salma as he believes Salma has distressed Hanady. Youssef tells Hanady about his crush on Amany. Salma tells Najwa she doesn't love Wassim.

Youssef promises to help Amany have eye surgery to get back her sight. Hanady suspects that it is Salma behind the disappearance of one of her car tires. Wassim gives Najwa Nabil's number (Elias Bassem) to contact him to import goods. Wassim opposes Salma's relationship with Amir.

Wael goes missing. Hanady defames Salma for being in a relationship with her professor. Salma confesses her love for Amir. When Hanady starts to become remorseful, Amir asks her to publicly apologize to Salma.

Pictures of a pregnant Nada haunt Nabil, but he doesn't recall whether she is his wife. Salma tells Amir she loves him. Najwa gets mad when Salma stays out late. Hanady quarrels with Salma over her relationship with Amir. Najwa is shocked to learn that Salma loves Amir, Kamal's son.

Amani goes out with Youssef and wishes she could just see him. Nabil is haunted by fragmented memories, but they don't make sense to him. Nada's condition is getting worse. Salma admits to Najwa that she loves Amir. A problem occurs at Kamal's casino.

Amir insists on finding Najwa and his cousins. Hanady asks Wassim to keep Salma away from Amir, and Najwa is shocked to see Laila at the clothes shop. Youssef's mother disapproves of his relationship with Amany.

Nabil is haunted by nightmares in which he sees Nada and Kamal. A car hits Amir and he is rushed into the hospital. Kamal visits Nada and tells her that what she has witnessed is but a glimpse of what he is capable of to crush his opponents.

Hanady is down with a fever and her mother refuses to let her attend the birthday party. Salma goes to the party and meets Amir. Wassim quarrels with Amir. Ramy tries to get his hands on any information about Nabil.

Amir promises Hanady to break up with Salma once and for all. Najwa buys goods from Mirva for her Beirut-based store. Youssef proposes to Amany. Kamal runs into Najwa at the mall but fails to catch her. Wael arrives in Beirut where he meets Sahar.

Nabil is shocked to learn of Wael's travel to Beirut. Najwa tells Moktar that Kamal has been chasing her, and Kamal indeed is tirelessly searching for Najwa. Youssef refuses to break up with Amany, and to tease him, his mother harshly humiliates her.

Wael eagerly tries to find any thread that can lead him to his father's family. Youssef's father urges him to leave Amany, while Mirva urges Wael to return to Turkey. Salma's friend warns her against falling for Amir, and Amir rejects Hanady's dinner invitation.

Hanady rejects Kamal's harassment. Wael continues to look for any trace that can lead him to his father's family and he meets Al-Mokhtar. When Wael follows Al-Mokhtar, he learns that Nabil is alive.

Kamal is shocked to learn that Nabil is alive and Wael is searching for him. Alaa kidnaps Wael and throws him into the cell where Nada is locked up. Amir breaks up with Hanady and confesses his love for Salma.

Kamal takes Wael to a faraway warehouse and tortures him to get any information about Nabil. Mirva worries that something hideous has happened to Wael. Hanady has a mental breakdown.

Kamal has nightmares where Najwa stabs him to death. Hanady reveals to Amir that Salma doesn't love him but feigned interest to win a bet. Consequently, Amir gets mad at Salma and has a mental breakdown. Wael manages to unshackle himself and quarrels with Alaa.

Wael receives a bullet in his leg but manages to escape after he hits Alaa. Being in a critical situation, Wael heads to the hospital where he calls his mother, and Mirva asks Najwa to go check up on him. In the hospital, Najwa promises to go to Turkey with Wael and meet his parents.

Salma tells Amir that Wassim works with her brother and mother in the clothes store. Hanady vows revenge on Salma. Meanwhile, Amany runs the necessary tests to learn whether she can have a cornea transplant.

Youssef's only wish is to have his mother forgive him and approve of his relationship with Amany. Najwa advises Salma to break up with Amir for good. Meanwhile, Hanady enlists Bahaa's help to take revenge on Salma and scandalize her. Najwa travels to Beirut with Wael.

Upon seeing Najwa. Nabil falls unconscious, but when he gains consciousness, he recalls his past and identifies Najwa. He recalls that Kamal murdered Ramzy and that Ramzy gave Hanady to a passing car. Wael affirms that it is his uncle Kamal who kidnaps and tortured him.

Najwa is concerned about how Salma will react upon learning the truth. Kamal offers Al-Mokhtar money in exchange for revealing where Najwa is. Nada hits Kamal, locks the cell behind him, and escapes, but he manages to find her.

Mazen warns Salma against her relationship with Amir, and Amir warns Hanady against doing any harm to Salma. Nabil is worried about how Salma will react upon seeing him. Kamal prepares to return to Beirut with Najwa.

Nada's condition in the cell is going downhill. Nabil is shocked to learn that Amir is Kamal's son. Hanady commits suicide. Sahar asks Wael to take her out for dinner and invites Hanady.

Najwa, Wael, and Nabil meet Al-Mokhtar who is shocked to learn all that Nabil had to go through. Selim puts Hanady's plan into action as he kidnaps Salma and takes pictures of her in a compromising position, and Hanady sends the pictures to Amir.

An enraged Amir confronts Salma with the pictures and she accuses Hanady of being behind such a nasty plot. Wael tells Hanady he has a crush on her. Salma has an accident and is rushed into the hospital. Hanady comes clean to Amir about what she has done to Salma.

Wael learns of Hanady's foul deeds against Salma. Salma, meanwhile, refuses to talk to Amir. Nabil offers Selim money to divulge Hanady's schemes. Hanady is arrested and kept in police custody pending investigation.

Shady, Hanady's father, goes to Najwa to beg her to help get Salma to forgive Hanady. Shady sees Ramzy's picture and recalls what happened on the night he got Hanady. Kamal is haunted by hellish nightmares.

Ossama divulges to Kamal the information he could get about Hanady. Nabil asks Al-Mokhtar to sign a written document that proves he is still alive. Salma learns that Nabil is her father and Kamal is her tyrannical uncle. Shady and Mariam beg Nabil and Najwa for forgiveness.

Salma returns home in tears, unable to make sense of all she has learned. Amany undergoes the surgery and her sight is restored. Nabil vows revenge on Kamal whose wickedness affected nearly everyone around him. Salma threatens Laila.

Al-Mokhtar suggests that Nabil buy Kamal's abandoned estate and start a new one; he also buys him a weapon. Salma forgives Hanady. Najwa breaks down when she sees Hanady's clothes at Mariam's and learns that Hanady and Salma are sisters.

Najwa tells Nabil that Hanady is his daughter, and Nabil is overcome with shock. Salma learns that Amir is her uncle Kamal's son. Mirva arrives in Beirut and Nabil informs her of the recent updates, but he cannot find a way to tell Salma that Hanady is her sister.

Salma drops the case against Hanady. Amir is shocked to learn that his father has a casino and that he is a womanizer. Wael tries to alleviate Hanady's pain and tells her he loves her. Amir proposes to Salma.
