Lots of explosions. Planes, helicopters, vehicles and alien drones/ships being blown up, the usual 'aliens attack earth' chaos and destruction. People are killed in these scenes but no gore, blood or close ups are shown. The viewer knows people are dead but you don't directly witness anything, i.e. a pilot is shown in his plane before you see the plane explode from outside and at one point an alien drone rips up the ground where a character had just run to.

The occasional "What the hell" and "oh my God" but nothing worse than that.
