Ronald Binion in Imaginary (2024)

Trivia

Imaginary

Edit
The movie Taylor and Liam are watching on the TV is Warm Bodies.
The first trailer, which first premiered in front of Five Nights at Freddy's (2023), consisted almost entirely sound effects over a blank screen, encouraging audiences to use their imagination.
The scavenger hunt items on Alice's list are: "Something Happy. Something that burns. A bowl. A paintbrush. A lock of hair. Something that scares you. Something that you would get in BIG trouble for. Something that makes you MAD. Something that HURTS." These are somewhat different from items on Jessica's list, as seen written on the wall in both her dream and her childhood room. The legible items from Jessica's list are: "Something to paint. Somethin that burns. Something u eat from. Somethin that makes u happee. Some peez of you. Something that makes you mad."
The family moves into a house on Elm St. in Springwood, a reference to A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) franchise, another "imaginary" villain proven to be real.
Director Jeff Wadlow cited Poltergeist (1982) as an influence on this movie, "It perfectly strikes the balance between scares and this benign sense of wonder and excitement and emotion that you get when you have a family that you care about."
