Initially titled "Raising Damon", as can be seen in the bloopers at the end of the pilot.
This is the first show Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. have appeared together in since Jr's CBS sitcom, Happy Together (2018) in the episode Like Father, Like Son (2018). That show was also cancelled after one season.
