A beautiful film about the pressure men feel in our societies to be strong, successful, capable.

The film depicts the agony of its male protagonist in strong, emotional images. He is caught in a world of appearances and cannot go on maintaining his facade. But the mirror that derides him becomes also a portal of liberation, as he finds himself suddenly in front of a dreamlike sculpture of broken mirrors. In its reflection, he does not only see his own male image but also the one of a female counterpart. The reconciliation of male and female is tender and sensual and enables the protagonist to find a way back into his life - a life in which both sides, male and female, will be intertwined.
