Graham Liver (pronounced Lie-ver), the BBC Radio Lancashire Breakfast Show presenter, plays himself as a radio presenter who interviews Dave Fishwick when the penny drops with Dave that payday lenders are a major problem.
Amit Shah (Oliver) and Calvin Dean (Matt the Compere) are very good friends in real life. They previously appeared in the werewolf movie Howl together. Dean was present on set the day Shah received his BAFTA nomination for Happy Valley.
The real Dave is also a henchman in the driver's seat of the car, when they are waiting outside the stadium.
