Synopsis

  • JP5 the band fights ECCW wrestlers for the Hard Core championship of the world. Gerry-Jenn (RIP) performed all of her own stunts in the ring for this amazing performance of Beer Drink'n Man Eaters -Directed by Michael Love of Lil'Devl Productions JP5 Formed in January of 1995, JP5 hit the clubs of Vancouver, BC, with a message to its fans... "PUT UP, OR SHUT UP!" These outrageous, over-the-top power punk rockers have been shocking fans with a stage show 'Not for the faint of heart'. JP5 is fronted by Lotuslands's most popular trash vixen, Gerry-Jenn Wilson. A talented songwriter and an even more amazing performer, Gerry-Jenn describes JP5 as "Jet fuel, my fave martini, and my beloved rawk band!" It doesn't take long to see that this woman has a spark inside her that is a mixture of Wendy O, Iggy Pop, Betty Page, and a little bit of Alice Cooper.

    RIP Gerry-Jenn Wilson We all love you !! Born at Guelph, Ontario on 24 December 1968, daughter of Robert G. "Bob" Wilson and step-daughter of Charlene Rizok, her childhood was spent in Winnipeg where she attended Kelvin High School. At the age of 17, she began publishing a magazine on the neo-punk music community. Her musical career began with Hypnotic Wail. In 1990, she moved to Vancouver where she performed with numerous bands until forming her own group JP5 in 1996. It performed until 2001 and released one album, Hot Box. She then formed an all-girl band The East Vamps (2008-2016) that recorded two albums. She died as a result of a fire in her home at Maple Ridge, British Columbia on 30 March 2021.
