Filming took place in Grantville, Georgia in April 2024.
Is very similar in premise to the Hell In Haven urban fantasy series by David Green. In the books, PI Nick Holleran (Hub Halloran in The Bondsman) is killed and resurrected, only to find out that hell is real and, with his new found family, starts investigations into demons, ghosts, angels and also has run-ins with the devil.
Beth Grant is only 8 years and 10 months older than Kevin Bacon yet plays his mother in this series.
The premise to The Bondsman (2025) is very similar to the 1998 Fox Television horror thriller series Brimstone (1998) starring Peter Horton and John Glover. Horton plays a dead police detective, Ezekiel Stone, resurrected from Hell by the Devil (Glover) to catch 113 fugitive who escaped from Hell to Earth. If Stone succeeds, he gets a second chance at life on Earth.
Similar premise to the dark humor TV Series "Reaper" that ran from 2007-2009, where the son of a man who sold his soul to the devil (played by Ray Wise), had to return the escaped demonic souls to Hell.
