Just watched this movie on Netflix. While ending with mixed emotions. I have seen Burt Reynolds in plenty of movies, some good, some bad, for the most part, they were very good. This movie has a fantastic story line, but Reynolds, and all of the other actors for that matter, looked like they were reading the lines as they went, then looking up to see if they said them right. It seemed there was no smooth flow to what should have been a decent story. I do not remember seeing any of the other actors' work before, but they really seemed plastic to me. No smooth sense of rhythm. Liv (Miss Emma Rayne Lyle) did the best acting of any of them with Kendall (Ms Terri J. Vaughn) following a close second. It really is a struggle to get through this, but in the end, it makes it all kind of worth it. But then I'm not a good critic, I just go by how I feel when I finish watching it. If you have some time to waste, it may be worth it, but I wouldn't rent it.

Netflix rated this at 2 1/2 out of 5 stars which I think is very accurate.
  • Apart from the bad acting, everything that a person should NOT do regarding greyhound adoption happened! The people knew nothing about the breed and endangered his life! Disgraceful film!
