This Documentary Must Be Seen by All Millennials, Children, Teens, "Young Adults".
Must be shown at U.S. Public Schools. That have reduced the "Cold War" to a couple of pages in U.S. Public School History Books.
"We are raising a generation of young Americans who are, to a very large degree, Historically Illiterate. It's not their faults. There's no problem about enlisting their interest in History. None. The problem is the teachers so often have no History in their background" - McCullough, Scholar, Historian. Most Teachers have Degrees in Education, not History, Science, Mathematics, English that they are supposed to teach.
My only criticism of this Documentary is that nothing is mentioned about the Longest Conventional War of History (actual 1979 to 1991, written 1980 to 1989) that would shape the Future of the Entire "Middle East" Region (including Africa (Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Niger, Nigeria), Iraq, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Syria, Pakistan), and the U.S. Ally European Nations. The Iran Iraq Wars, about One Million Dead Iraqis, One Million Dead Iranians, actual Use of Chemical Weapons to finally end the Iran Iraq Wars. U.S. Military involvement supposedly did not happen just like U.S. Military involvement with CIA Operation Cyclone was denied (but did happen with U.S. Military attached to the CIA).
The significance of the U.S.S.R.'s Covert Operations (K.G.B., Spetsnaz) that resulted in the 1979 Overthrow of U.S. Ally Shah of Iran, and the U.S.S.R. backing Ayatollah Khomeini to create a Muslim Theocracy Government caused Millions of Iranians to flee Iran to U.S. Ally Iraq*, then backing the Muslim Nation of Iran during the Iran Iraq Wars.
*The Conditions at Ayatollah Khomein's Muslim Nation of Iran were/are as shown by the Movie "Not Without My Daughter" 1991. Movie "Not Without My Daughter" 1991 does not show the brutal purges (public executions) of anybody that was suspected to have had any connections to the U.S. Ally Shah of Iran.
An Addendum to this Excellent Documentary Must be Made starting with the 2001 U.S. Overthrow of the U.S.S.R. (Russian Federation) Backed Iranian Backed Afghan Taliban Government. (for some "entertainment" value add clips from the "Horse Soldiers of 9/11", thousands of Northern Alliance Afghans on Horses attacking the Afghan Taliban positions as lead by U.S. Army Special Forces also on horseback).
