  • It was a good watch but the End doesn't justify the situation. It seemed as the writer wanted to impose this end for nothing and just to shock the audience for nothing. It doesn't seem to be a logical conclusion. It appears as if the writer just wants the end of the movie may become the talk of the town. It's a big deal even for the police here in the UK to kill a human being. Police force of the UK has been made a villain and it has been shown that they can kill anyone only on the basis of suspicion. However, in reality, it is not so. This situation has been created to make end of the movie sad, shocking and finally to make a feel good movie a bad one.
  • It sounds like you've watched a movie that left you feeling disappointed with its ending. It can be frustrating when a story doesn't conclude in a satisfying way, especially when it veers towards a sad or tragic direction unexpectedly. It seems like you're suggesting that the movie could have provided closure or at least some form of resolution, perhaps by letting the main character know about the fate of the person they were searching for, or by hinting at a potential continuation in a second part.

Movies can evoke a range of emotions, and it's understandable to feel let down when a story doesn't match your expectations.

At the end they should let her know about him anyway......

    Need Part 2.

Came back watching the movie, And I must say, after a longest time I've watched a movie that is truly so touching, innocent, heart warming and positive in nature! Not a moment passed by where there wasn't a smile on my face. People in the theatre were giggling, aww-ing and just having so much of warmth throughout. I'm so glad that in the last 2 hours I lived in the world of Ali Pervaiz (and ofcourse Meher).

Anyways, Ali (i.e. Imran Abbas you truly are an adorable character)!

    • Forever favourite!

Being a non punjabi i enjoyed so much so am sure its the sweetest delight for the punjabi audiences in UK.

Super awesome...must watch film... Super refreshing to watch Imran Abbas in a new avatar n character...so different from the usual recent characters played by him ...and Simi is anyways doing amazing work everytime .. Great story concept as well...a very sensitive issue specially for those belonging to either parts of Punjab. Acting, music, storyline all are superb..a great watch overall.. Good family content... one of the best movies of Punjabi Film Industry thsi year..only sad part is it didnt get much screens in Delhi.

Punjabis not only reside in west and north delhi but south Delhi as well.
  • I'm short of words to appreciate this piece of art.

This is just not a movie but a roller coaster ride of emotions for the viewers to watch.

The unpredictable story twists & the climax just adds onto the cinematic experience.

Direction, cinematography, dialogues, story, comedy, acting, casting - everything about this movie is so very well aligned & is just too good 👍 This cross border love story really touched my heart & gives out such a beautiful message.

All the actors have given their best.

Imran & Simi, you'll couldn't have given a better gift than this to your viewers. Thank you so much 💓

The producer should change the end. It should be happy ending.though the action o Simmi Cahal is awesome as always. She has kept the audience attached throughout the film. Still we believe that the film should not end on a sad note. The makers should seriously think about changing the climax of film. Such a good and entertaining film does not deserve a Sad end. It must be happy. Otherwise it's a very good family entertainer. This can be seen by the whole family sitting together. The only thing is this film has not been shown in much screens in Noida. The makers should take care of it in future.

Midway watching this film I could tell in future this will be considered a classic film in Panjabi cinema. The vibe of this film is really good, sweet, funny, emotional, romantic family entertainer.

It kept giving me vibes of SRK classics like Veer Zaara, DDLJ, etc. Amrinder Gill's Lahoriye, etc.

The film as sweet moments between Simi and Imran, and Imran's friend's comic timing is really good in this film. Good concept, romance, destiny, dreams, fate.

I wanted to go watch this film in theatres when it released but for some reason it never worked out. Now watching this online, I kind of regret not watching this in theatre.

Overall, a family entertainment. Must watch.
  • The best thing about this movie is the improvisation of Punjabi cinema... We need movies like this... We need this Punjabi cinema... With due respect to all the comedy movies... Music is the core for the movie.... And hoped Atif Aslam to Sing more of songs in this... But the title song... No one could have done better... Abbas was decent with his acting... He had that charm which was a dire need... And he did everything great... Simi chahal... She's so good now... The emotional scenes were inch perfect... I hope her to be more in such movies with this visibility in performance instead with a low profile character development in comedy movies... She deserves such story lines... Perfect for This movie Everything is top notch... But Simz's acting is the highlight and Atif's voice is another masterstroke.

  • The movie was akin to a delicious dessert that, surprisingly, leaves a bitter aftertaste. The final credits rolled to reveal "A movie by THAPPAR", which added an intriguing layer to the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the performance by Saabi; their portrayal was absolutely hilarious, providing a perfect balance to the film's more serious undertones. Despite the jarring ending, the movie's clever script and dynamic character interactions made it a memorable watch. The contrast between the lighthearted moments and the poignant conclusion made it a compelling narrative. I recommend it.
  • This was totally unexpected movie just saw it on chaupal. Zero promotions and no usual comedians so never heard about it . Started with low expectations from the start. Although there are some screenplay flaws but they are for totally perfect score.

The film is overall different two characters from different countries meeting up in an unusual setup was good enough. No double meaning jokes not overtly comedic , food drama . The best thing was that total characters are not that well known of course there is simi chahal and the guy playing Ali character might be a well known face of pakistan but overall it was good to see new faces.

More films of these kind should be made and promoted if you truly want to see good punjabi films.

    Superb
Great movie of the punjabi film industry. Awesome acting, awesome comedy, awesome emotional acting. Both of simi and imran play a great role and full family oriented movie. And the bestest past of the film is the friend of imran. Both punjab should be not both.it should be one . Very sensitive topic to motivate and spread love between the border. Groom should come from Pakistan and get his bridal from india and vise versa. One day i want to go to my car to wahga border and get permission to go to delhi or Bombay to spend a evening in india and eat special foods like chola bathora. It will be possible only when politicians removed hat from themselves. Love and fully recommend.
  • It's a heart warming and a beautiful experiment to bring together Indian and Pakistan talent. Loved it even more in Punjabi language.

Our cultures are so alike.. would love to see more of such movies and shot in London makes it a perfect melting spot with beautiful locations.

The whole direction, production and editing was so nicely done.

They have really created a nice and positive movie.
