When Pelant threatens Booth, he says that he will kill five innocent people, a teenager listening to music, a couple, and an old man playing chess. That is only four people.

The use of "Harris Lines" to tell that the dog bites happened 10 years ago. Harris Lines can tell growth arrest of bones in a child (while the bones would still be growing). For example you could tell when a person was malnourished in their growing years. Harris lines show up as radiopaque on an X-Ray. There would not be Harris lines from an injury that happened when the person was an adult nor without taking an X-Ray, which both were done here.
