  • Apparently making an endless stream of porn-parodies affected writer-director Will Ryder adversely, as this latest feature in his Adam & Eve series "Love, Sex &..." is a poorly directed mashup of Hollywood cliches and elongated sex scenes. By film's end, the only reaction is: Gimme a break!

Kylie Rocket stars (and has at least one atrociously acted crying scene wearing the fakest of fake eyelashes, probably requested by director Ryder thinking "satire") as a girl working as a catering waitress who is discovered by no less than Will Ryder, writing himself into the picture as a TV producer, who casts her in his current hit show. Her ups and downs recall those classic "Hollywood stories" like that of Lana Turner, only hokier.

Basically she becomes the new girlfriend of movie star Nathan Bronson, whose current squeeze Kate Dalia goes berserk at the prospect of being dumped for her. How Kate sabotages Kylie's budding career is very sloppily depicted by Ryder in a section of the movie where he has the temerity to arbitrarily throw in randomly a totally extraneous sex threesome of agent Brad Newman with co-worker Holly Hendrix and TV newscaster Ameena Green -truly awful.

"Corny" would be high praise for this junker, meant to be cheery and cute but coming off as lame in the extreme.
