    DEATH ROT is a waste-of-time horror movie that feels like a dry run for the following year's DEATHGASM, which was a lot more fun with a bigger budget and faster pace. This, by comparison, is predictable throughout and almost completely lacking in incident and interest.

    The story is about a heavy metal band who go on tour and end up in the rural unknown. These guys are about unsympathetic as film leads get and you'll tire of their presence very quickly. Eventually they meet up with some dodgy characters who sell human flesh for profit, and there are a few mild scare and murder scenes.

    The early scene-setting moments are much better than the later attempts at delivering horror. This is shot in a very poor way, with ugly camera-work throughout.
