  • This movie is proof that South Africa is on the correct path to make GREAT movies. This is truly a feel good movie that gives you a warm feeling of satisfaction. The acting was more than satisfactory.
  • It's almost inconceivable to comprehend 'Klein Karoo' was directed by the highly acclaimed Reghardt van den Bergh.

I hated this movie so much, I don't even know where to begin. Should I start with the annoying, almost unbearable acting? The cliched dialogue? The story that offers nothing we haven't seen before? 'Klein Karoo' was utterly boring and painfully predictable. This is nothing more than an excuse for sponsors to showcase their brands. 'Klein Karoo' might as well have been an advertising vessel - which it probably is judging by the many, many sponsors we see in almost every scene...

It further serves to bring awareness of current South African issues. Yawn, yawn, yawn... 'Klein Karoo' was oh-so-boring and friggin' annoying! This is not escapism; this is spoon feeding South Africans with a 'politically correct' movie, disguised as a romantic comedy...ugh! Enough!

Would I watch it again? Definitely not!
