Journey into the world of Hong Kong and Chinese cinema as Matias and Edwin discuss how Bruce Lee shook their world and turned them into superfans. They were joined by Bruce Lee Memorabilia collector and expert Jeff Chinn, the world's foremost Bruce Lee collector (he has been collecting for over 50 years). His most treasured item is the original blue gong fu suit worn by Bruce in "Enter the Dragon". Jeff is the only collector to be born at the same hospital as Bruce. He has loaned his collection to museums all around the world including Warner Bros. Studios, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Academy Museum and The Smithsonian. Jeff currently is the main loaner to the "We are Bruce Lee" exhibition in San Francisco Chinatown and main docent tour guide. Jeff continues to use his collection to inspire others about the life and legacy of Bruce Lee.

The studio was instrumental in starting the martial-arts film craze globally in the early 70s and launched the careers of genre-defining directors such as King Hu, Chang Cheh and Lau Kar-Leung as well as iconic actors Jimmy Wang Yu, Gordon Lau Kar-Fai, Ti Lung or David Chiang. Matias and Edwin explore what is was like creating some of the best fight scenes ever in Hong Kong film history. They are joined by the legendary Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, who appeared as one of martial-arts cinema's most iconic final opponents alongside Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao in two of the best martial-arts films ever made: "Wheels on Meals" and "Dragons Forever". For five decades Sensei Benny has been a moving force in the world of martial-arts: a six-time world champion in five weight class divisions, he was nicknamed "the Jet" because of his explosive spinning back kick and also founded the "Ukidokan" Karate system, meaning "way of life". Sensei Benny pioneered full contact fighting in the United States and in 1978 Black Belt magazine voted him "Competitor of the Year" and in 2019 he was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame. Sensei Benny is also highly sought after stunt -and fight coordinator on film sets all over the world, working with the likes of the late Patrick Swayze, John Cusack and Jean-Claude Van Damme just to name a few.

Prof. Marchetti serves as Chair of the Department of Humanities and Media Studies at Pratt Institute in New York. Her books include Romance and the "Yellow Peril": Race, Sex and Discursive Strategies in Hollywood Fiction", "From Tian'anmen to Times Square: Transnational China and the Chinese Diaspora on Global Screens", "The Chinese Diaspora on American Screens: Race, Sex, and Cinema", "Andrew Lau and Alan Mak's Infernal Affairs-The Trilogy" and "Citing China: Politics, Postmodernism, and World Cinema". Her research and teaching interests encompass critical and cultural theory, world cinema, Asian and Asian American women filmmakers, and depictions of China and the Chinese diaspora on global screens.
