Chennai, March 6: Southern actress Simran Bagga, who recently made a comeback to the industry with Tamil romantic-drama "Aaha Kalyanam", has clarified that she is not part of the remake of recent Malayalam blockbuster "Drishyam" in any language.
"I'm not doing any role in any language in any remake of 'Drishyam'. I shall reveal my professional plans to the media at the appropriate time," Simran said in a statement.
Kamal Haasan will feature in the Tamil remake of "Drishyam", which will be helmed by Jeethu Joseph who had directed the original.
Simran, who ruled the roost in the 1990s and early 2000s, took a break.

Mumbai, Feb 10: Actress Vaani Kapoor, who will be seen in the southern remake of Yash Raj films' "Band Baaja Baaraat" titled "Aaha Kalyanam", hopes her film gets an equally good response.
"I hope people accept it, watch it and give it as much love as they did to 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. We have put in a lot of hard work and efforts in it," the 25-year-old said here at the Zee Cine awards.
Directed by A. Gokul Krishna, "Aaha Kalyanam" is Yash Raj Films'(Yrf) first south production. It also features actor Nani and will release in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Chennai, Jan 27: Telugu actor Nani, who didn't have a single release in 2013, will have three releases - "Paisa", "Janda Pai Kapiraju" and "Aaha Kalyanam" - next month.
Nani's last release was 2012 Telugu blockbuster "Eega" by S.S. Rajamouli.
The first of the three releases will be Krishna Vamsi-directed "Paisa", set for a Feb 7 release. It was supposed to release last year but has been postponed several times.
"For various reasons we couldn't release 'Paisa' last year. I don't want to discuss the reasons in detail but I'm glad that our film is finally releasing Feb 7," Krishna Vamsi told Ians.
