Love Next Door is the reunion project of the Director and Script Writer of Hometown Cha Cha Cha (2021)
In episode 5 Bae Seok-ryu says she will make a meal like the star in "Something in the Rain" and Choi Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in) tells her not to mess with Son Ye-jin (star of Something in the Rain). That was a series starring Jung Hae-in as the male lead. It was also a series about childhood friends who fall in love.
The code written in episode 16 for the mobile app of the restaurant is actually "Flutter" code.
Love Next Door is the very first romantic-comedy challenge of the actor Jung Hae In.
