The violence is disturbing but is never bloody. The only instance of blood is when a dead body is shown under a tarp and the outline of blood splatter is shown without detail.

A man is stabbed numerous times on the street by two thugs, no blood is shown but this is very realistic and groundedly disturbing.

A man vomits a black substance which then transforms him into a black being. Tendrils come out and stab into a man's neck, though nothing is shown on-screen. Another man has his head hardly squeezed but the audio cuts out and it's left ambigious as to how he died.

In an alleyway, a man jabs the blade of a sai into the back of a victim's head and out his eye; no blood or wounds are shown and this is quick. Later, he throws a pen at a man and it sticks into the side of his head, killing him - once again this is bloodless but there is a disturbing dull thunk as it strikes his temple.

The climax is pretty disturbing, although it doesn't show any on-screen violence.
