Linn and Ine carry out their backpacker dream in the tropical island nation of the Philippines. Linn's biggest phobia is sharks, and Ine decides to swim with real whale sharks. They experience the noisy nightlife of Manila, farming in the mountains, and a zero-star ferry ride they will never forget.

Linn and Ine head to South Korea. They check into a zero-star prison hotel for guests with special preferences. Linn gets to try her hand as a background dancer for a K-pop group. And in the mountains they seek inner peace in a anything but relaxing monastery.

Linn and Ine visit places with "zero star" reviews around the world. Linn and Ine travel to Belgium. There they visit the farm of the ostrich whisperer Wendy, meet Belgium's answer to Aune Sand, the positive prophet Enrico, and get a tour of what has been voted the world's ugliest city.

In Kyrgyzstan, Ine and Linn finally get to visit a hotel with a pool before trying to find the world's smallest wax museum at the request of Magnus Devold. Relaxation takes place in a zero-star Soviet sanatorium and the nomad Batr takes them out into the Kyrgyz steppes to experience the traditional nomadic lifestyle.

Ine and Linn are finally going on a relaxing beach vacation, and travel to Pablo Escobar's birthplace, Colombia. It will be an encounter with a beach that is anything but relaxing. They go to a zero-star volcano to bathe in mud, before going to the carnival with the review "The worst party/carnival I have ever been to in my life."

Ine and Linn have an unpleasant encounter with altitude sickness when they visit Bolivia's capital, La Paz. They also meet the indigenous female wrestlers of the group "The Flying Cholitas" before being accommodated in a zero-star capsule hotel. They also delve into Bolivia's tradition of witchcraft when they meet TikTok witch Don Silvestre.
