Loosely inspired by Olivia Sui's experience at a dinner with her partner (executive producer Sam Lerner) and friend (producer Cameron Fuller), where Sui kept receiving random Shrek memes via AirDrop.
The events of the film take place on June 7th, 2025, based on the clock in Henry's car and one of the documents seen in Henry's camera which was dated December 2024.
Violet, Henry, and Matt are all left-handed.
