- Fiona and Laveau have a deadly face off with The Corporation. Cordelia makes a desperate sacrifice to protect the Coven.
- In 1830, in New Orleans, Delphine is bored and not happy since she left Paris. But soon she finds a hobby torturing the black slaves. Queenie returns to the Academy, bringing Delphine in one piece, and she returns to her bad habits with the gardener James. Cordelia removes both eyes to retrieve her second vision and protect the coven. Fiona schedules a meeting in New Orleans with Harrison and the witch hunter Corporation and Marie Laveau and out of the blue, the Axeman posing as butler kills all the members but Harrison with his axe. Fiona kills Harrison using the same axe. Spalding sees Delphine with the dead James and lures her saying that she can murder Marie Laveau using certain medicine. - New Orleans, 1830
Madame La Laurie complains to her daughter about having to return from Paris, moaning about a lack of stimulation in New Orleans. She's seeking something to keep her interested. Later, with the cooks not arriving until tomorrow, La Laurie cuts the head off a chicken herself. She enjoys feeling the blood pulse out of it as it dies.
Later, she responds to a slaves cries for help in the attic. He's fallen and cut open his leg and it's bleeding badly. She enjoys seeing the blood gush from his leg even more than she enjoyed the chicken. Instead of getting him a doctor, or helping him, she smothers him, strings him up and begins her torture. "I think I'm gonna like it here," she says, relishing the blood.
The remaining members of the coven, along with Kyle and Marie Laveau, say good-bye to Nan in the cemetery. She "fell in the tub" (Fiona and Laveau drowned her). Someone laments that Misty Day isn't there to bring Nan back (because Madison buried her alive in a tomb). They see a car pull up. It's Queenie, alive and unharmed, and she has Madame La Laurie on a leash -- put back together without a mark on her. They leave the cemetery without discovering Misty.
At Corporation headquarters, arrangements have been made so that Hank will be identified as a homeless veteran suffering from PTSD.
Hank's father is prepared to pay the witches to get them to back off their spell for the time being, then come after them later.
Back at the house, Delphine La Laurie performs manicures on Fiona and Marie. She explains in voice over that she was neglected as a child and filled her time cutting the parts off animals to see how they would fare.
Fiona makes arrangements to meet with the Corporation at a neutral site in New Orleans. She's counting on them planning to kill them. She cleans around the house, noticing that Madison neglected to flush her "dirt." When Madison refuses to, we cut to the coven slurping up bowls of brown -- mulligatawny soup -- and Myrtle raving about the spices she can identify.
Marie walks away with the tureen, pleased with herself.
Marie hands over the baby she stole for Delphine to change, while telling her she plans to cut Delphine into pieces and leave her all over town.
Delphine spies through the keyhole as Fiona gets dressed late at night, "without her undergarments on" and returns before dawn.
Cordelia frantically chants over a potion, trying to get her second sight to return.
A worker comes in from the garden with his hand bleeding, after cutting it while pruning. "Then I realized what was missing in my life," Delphine tells us as she sees the blood dripping. She volunteers to deal with James.
Then takes him up to Spaulding's creepy attic lair and chloroforms him, stringing him up like she did with her slaves. She tells James she has a "scientific fascination" with cutting her slaves apart, and their screams were like a musical background. She wraps up her life story for James, with his foot in her lap, preparing to snip his toes off with pruning shears.
Zoe says a spell over the bathtub where Nan died, hoping for something. She sees Fiona's reflection in the water, then Marie's.
When Zoe tells Madison what she's doing, she doesn't care at all who was responsible for Nan's death.
Madison gets annoyed and tries to stake her claim to Kyle, but he throws her off and says he loves Zoe. Madison retaliates by cracking the mirror and dropping a light on Zoe's head. Myrtle comes to investigate the noise.
Madison won't be cowed and brushes off Myrtle's attempts to silence her. She tells Kyle that putting him together was fun, but taking him apart will be even more fun.
Fiona enjoys another lazy afternoon with the Axeman. He tells her he wants to take her to his father's farm so they can live out the rest of their days, but first she has to kill the Supreme, whoever it is. She agrees, but says first he has to do something for him.
Delphine finishes disemboweling James and Spaulding appears. She says she can explain, but he says "one doesn't explain art." He says he's been watching her alive, without purposes. She's disappointed killing James wasn't more satisfying.
Spaulding winds Delphine up, suggesting he go after Marie Laveau, who he thinks has led Fiona astray.
Spaulding says he can provide Delphine with the means to kill Marie, but first she has to venture out into the world and retrieve and item that won't be cheap.
Cordelia goes to talk to Queenie, to tell her she's glad she's back. Cordelia asks how she survived. Queenie says she got some new powers, and not even the silver bullet Hank used could kill her. She's starting to think she's the next Supreme.
She calls Cordelia weak and kicks her out.
Back in her greenhouse, Cordelia cries as she makes another potion. She rubs it around her eyes and sobs. She holds pruning shears at her eyes and, with her hands quaking, dives them first into one eye, then the other.
Fiona comes back, having heard what Cordelia has done. Myrtle says Cordelia has become a hero to protect the coven. Myrtle dares Fiona to put her hands on Cordelia and have her secrets be revealed. Fiona changes course and goes to get a drink first.
Up in the doll attic, Delphine brings Spaulding what he asked for -- an authentic 1895 baby doll. He gives her the potion he says will temporarily render Marie mortal, allowing Delphine to kill her. He reveals a box of Benadryl, which he tells her is so powerful she shouldn't speak its name.
Myrtle gives Zoe her most valuable possession -- a piece of jewelry that only she and Lee Radizwill could pull off. She thinks Zoe is leaving the coven with Kyle, and urges her to go so Madison doesn't get to her. She gives Zoe tickets and tells her to go.
Harrison Renard, his second in command David, and several of the Corporation suits come to a conference room to meet with Fiona and Marie. First, the witches order drinks.
Harrison offers to pay Marie for the collateral damage to her shop if Fiona lifts her spell. Harrison proposes a 100 year truce. "This is the end, we give up," Harrison says.
The waiter (whose face we can't see) locks the room. Fiona and Marie up their demands, to Harrison's house and a private jet for Marie. The waiter takes off his coat and turns around, it's the Axeman.
Fiona makes another offer: "You can all just die."
The Axeman turns around and takes out his axe, then throws it into the nearest Corporation suit. He hacks away as the ladies use magic to disarm the others. One by one, the suits go down, leaving only Harrison.
He calmly gets a cup of tea and tell women that killing them won't stop the war. Marie doesn't care, she still thinks it'll be fun.
"Go to hell, witch bitch," he says. The Axeman tosses Fiona his axe and Fiona takes the gleeful hacks into Harrison's neck, leaving a pool of blood on the floor.
Back at the Academy, Fiona and Marie toast to their success as Delphine waits to see Marie's reaction to her drink.
Fiona leaves to see the Axeman.
Later, up in her room, Delphine waits for her moment, then drives a knife into Marie's chest. It only seems to annoy her. Delphine checks the directions and sees that the "magic" could take time to work. Marie laughs and calmly removes the knife from her chest, explaining it's an antihistamine.
She comes after Delphine but Spaulding whacks Marie on the head with a doll, sending her tumbling down the stairs. He know Marie can't die, but suggests Delphine bury her somewhere she can't get out. He only came to Delphine because he wanted Marie gone and she seemed the most likely to go along.
Back up in his creepy sanctuary, Spaulding has a new toy in the old baby doll dress -- the very much alive young baby that Marie stole. "A living doll, all my own," Spaulding says as he rocks it.
Zoe packs up her things and tries to get Kyle to do the same, but he says he's not going. He's afraid he'll hurt Zoe or someone else. "I have these feelings inside that I can't control," he says.
Zoe assures him she's not scared of him.
They head to the bus station and get on the bus to Orlando.
