As they do in this movie's predecessor Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022), co-writers Paul Campbell and Kimberley Sustad stars and has a small guest role, respectively.
In the first movie, Three Wise Men and a Baby, Kimberly Sustad showed up briefly and said to Paul Campbell, "You can't write these things"--an inside reference to the fact that they were co-writers on that. And in this sequel, she again has a small cameo and says to Campbell, about the Christmas show, "I was a little worried because last year's show was so good. It's hard to follow a hit with another hit, you know what I mean? Almost impossible, really." To which Campbell responds, "Tell me about it!" which is another insider reference to their co-writing this movie as well.
