From a 38 year old... Who's played everything from every call of duty, god of wars etc. There was no genre I stayed away from.. Apart from turn based combat games, until now.
Ignore that factor for the minute as this game is not only visually brilliant, the story is magnificent and better yet what makes a game and the experience the score (music) is phenomenal.. Now put in the combat aspect I wasn't too keen on in the past is flawless, it's so rhythmic it's addictive... 1 of the best games ive ever played.... And I've played a lot. I used to think we'd get a stand out game once every decade.. We've been spoilt lately, and this game shows why it's nothing short of perfection.

This game is really bad played it and had no fun. Graphically, Expedition 33 is stunning. The lighting system is particularly impressive, using shadows and contrast to build tension. The environments are stark, but there is a beauty in their bleakness. Whether you are exploring an abandoned research station or traversing a rugged landscape, the sense of scale is striking. The game strikes a delicate balance between detailed environments and the simplicity of the art style, creating a minimalist yet deeply immersive world.
The use of lighting-flashes of torchlight cutting through the dark, or the sudden loss of visibility-creates a visual rhythm that feels like a heartbeat, punctuating moments of silence with sudden clarity or dread.
