In the final episode of House of David, the storyline reaches its emotional peak as long-buried secrets are revealed, and the fate of the central characters hangs in the balance. Tensions that have been building throughout the series come to a head, with characters grappling with personal dilemmas, loyalties, and betrayals. The pacing of the episode is intense, keeping viewers on edge until the very last moment. The performances of the cast shine, particularly in the climactic scenes where the future of David's dynasty is decided.
However, the series takes significant creative liberties, deviating from both the biblical texts and the Midrashim, making it controversial for those who adhere to traditional interpretations. The portrayal of key events and figures in the episode diverges from established religious writings, which may not sit well with some viewers.
The conclusion is both satisfying and thought-provoking, leaving the audience reflecting on the choices the characters made and the consequences of their actions. Overall, this episode brings a fitting close to a complex, gripping narrative, while still leaving room for speculation about what might come next.

Worth it!! The entire season was worth the wait of the finale! You go ahead and tell that story, Prime! Wonder Project! Give'em all the details! Show the humanity and the power and extent of God's grace! I would want to go to war with my enemy also, after seeing something like that lol the victory is the Lord's!
People can decide not to watch this all they want. Just like with the Chosen, or any biblical show for that matter. It's a television show, not a documentary. It's up to God's people to discern truth with each other, not television. That's entertainment, not church. So take it for what it's worth. Which, in this case, is hella awesome!!
Ps. 22!!!!!!
"They will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it!" To God be the glory!!!!

I've heard this story all my life. I've told this story so often that I can quote it from the Bible. (King James, which isn't my preferance, but tells you how old I am.)
When David and Goliath face off, their words are straight from scripture, with embellishments that add to the drama. This in itself would make me a fan.
But it's so well done! The characters are rich and well developed. The historical and Christian/Jewish research was spot on (Google some of your objections...or check your Hebrew lexicon).
Most Christian/Biblical dramas are tolerable at best. The Chosen upped the standard. The House of David, in particular this episode, brings it to a whole new level.
PS Samuel is my favorite!
