Once a year, members of the Joined Services Agency (JSA) graduate from the academy and go up the ranks to become elite heroes in Montero Valley. Meanwhile, this year's unofficial member, Justin McDonald, only received a strange book that needs to be translated. That's it.

After Justin McDonald successfully formed his team with his new fairy companion, Fidelia. The two trained together and honed their skills. However, days turned into weeks before the duo were able to find clients willing to hire them for missions. Then, before they knew it, weeks turned into months before this heroic duo finally found a mission to be assigned. In the most unexpected of places.

On night, monsters rush out of the mountains to attack the people of Iron Ore Village. This JSA team must intervene and put out the fires caused by the monsters involved. JSA's involvement in this village will now lead the group into a new chain of events-both good and ill.

The recent, chaotic events and certain decisions that have transpired in Iron Ore Village have brought about a chain reaction. The Hero Slaying duo, Clouse and Noelle, set out to search for Isaac Vorontsov and the JSA team he recently joined up with. They even resort to abduction to accomplish their sinister goals.

Justin and his team are now in an impasse with the infamous Hero Slayers-Clouse and Noelle. This sinister duo makes Justin an impossible choice of choosing between one of his clients, Klein, or his new team member, Ike, to give up to them. However, when the monsters set their sights on Violet, Klein was forced to step in and do the unthinkable.

After narrowly escaping the Hero Slayers, Justin and the rest of the team are now stuck in the middle of the Elda Granto desert, trying to find their way to Esteban. Before they could continue, Violet decides to have a heart to heart with Justin and his team by explaining her previous experiences with both the late hero, Quake and the infamous Hero Slayers.

After somehow being spared by the Hero Slayers, both Rick and Violet are forced to leave Almagest and return to Montero Valley unsuccessfully. Afterwards, Klein as well as the remaining JSA and families of the deceased all mourn the tragic deaths of the Great Seven. This unceremoniously led to Lady Violet's infamous title known throughout Montero Valley, Princess Blacklist.

After Violet opened up to Justin's team about her past, Justin in return did the same. He explains to everyone the shady, unfair treatment both Fidelia and himself endured in Montero Valley. They now harbor nothing but indifference towards those involved. The two were just thankful that they left that place with everything they needed: their special item along with powers, team, and mission.

Last and most certainly not least, Ike explains his side of the story that led him up to this point. Ike reveals his life as a slave in Almagest, his association with the Hero Slayer, Noelle, and why it was so important for him to escape that evil land. Then after all the important questions were answered, both sides make new vows and continue their journey to Esteban.

After the three sides told their story of what led them to this current predicament, this unofficial JSA team continued to guard their one and only client left by traveling through the hot deserts of Elda Granto. However, another unexpected traveling group gives them a hand, allowing both sides to make it to Esteban safely. There, many things must be done in order to finish this mission.

Together, Fidelia and Justin collaborate with Akashic Record employees to have their mysterious book translated. The two then get right into their magic training. In the meantime, Ike and Violet wind themselves into unforeseen situations that force them to sign up for an impending fighting tournament they have to win in order to keep the Esteban Knights from becoming suspicious.

Once the unofficial JSA team arrives to Esteban to better themselves, an unknown third party lurks in the shadows to plot both their team and Esteban's complete downfall. The Hero Slayers also put together a little strategy of their own to defeat the unofficial JSA team and conquer Esteban. Noelle enters an underworld faction to hire the infamous assassin called the Red Kite to assist and lead them in their mission, which raises the stakes even higher.

It was a lovely morning that involved Chrissy, another one of Violet's retainers, preparing breakfast as the two casually conversed about life. However, that all changes when Violet asks Chrissy about any available trainers in the area for the upcoming tournament, in which the latter protests. After Chrissy relents, she points Violet and Ike to the veteran knight, Rick. Now, both Ike and Violet seek training from this old acquaintance to prepare for the upcoming tournament in Esteban.

Both Ike and Violet train rigorously for their first match in the tournament. Meanwhile, Justin and Fidelia uncover more secrets behind the Untitled Ambition. On the first day of the tournament, all of Esteban-especially the knights-were curious to see if there was any weight to both Ike and Violet's claims as fighters. All eyes were on them as their matches against various duelists finally began.

After Ike and Violet's victory in the tournament, the team decides to throw a victory party in their honor. However unusual creatures fly the night skies gathering intel on the group. These creatures are bat familiars set by Noelle to spy on the unofficial JSA team and gather intel. Now, Justin must work even harder on both his magic and partner synchronization skills.

Almagest forces are readying their monster legion to invade Esteban. Anti-Spur along with his servant Nancy continue adding more zombies to their dark army, while Noelle remains adamant on getting back her stolen property, Ike, despite Clouse's warnings. Meanwhile, Justin and Fidelia continue learning the multiple stages of partner synchronization.

The preparations for the war against the Hero Slayers are now complete. Now, Justin updates both Ike and Violet on the current situation at hand. The news of Noelle's impending return to challenge the duo greatly disturbs them and Violet starts to become a bit nervous. However, Justin reassures them both that they're not same individuals he first back when this mission first started. He reminds them that they're smarter, faster, stronger and far better than where they first started.

The Hero Slayers and their forces invade Esteban. Now, Justin answers the call to action to stop the invaders from wreaking havoc by any means necessary. Upon his arrival at the scene, the Hero Slayers remark about the strong scent Justin now has on him compared to the last time they met. To their surprise, Justin cuts to the chase and tells Noelle exactly where both Ike and Violet are located. Noelle immediately leaves for the stadium, while Justin faces off against the Hero Slayer, Clouse.

After withstanding Justin's most fierce skill yet, Clouse unleashes his full power and becomes a giant titan. This giant, stone menace runs amok throughout the desert of Elda Granto to eliminate Justin until Fidelia uses her powers to both warp and rescue her partner from certain doom. After some motivational pep talk, Justin comes to the conclusion that the only way to defeat Clouse is to use the final phase of partner synchronization, despite the risks.

After using the final phase of partner synchronization, the Hero Slayer: Clouse still survived and attempted to dispose of Justin and Fidelia. It's revealed that this green giant had a few magical spells in his arsenal: petrifaction and paralysis magic. Meanwhile, this entire fiasco is being filmed worldwide simultaneously as Noelle makes her move into Esteban in search of Ike and Violet.

The Hero Slayer, Noelle, appears before Ike and Violet as the famed duo display unusual signs of defiance and bravery towards this fierce creature. Their stance caused Noelle to reminisce on events in her previous life. Noelle, in her past life, was once an established assassin who put together her own squad for the underworld. Everything went fine until they were assigned a mission to assassinate the current ruler of Almagest.

The long-awaited clash between Violet and Noelle has finally arrived. The two parallels unanimously agree that this world simply isn't big enough for the two to coexist. It's either one or the other, but it can't be both. Noelle's envy towards Lady Violet reaches an all-time high as she vividly compares her life, love, strength, and struggles as everything handed to the princess on a silver platter. Noelle laments that it was first the Hero Quake that fell for the princess' charms. Now, Noelle becomes even more enraged when she claims that Violet even turned her prized possession (Ike) away from her. At that moment, both came to the conclusion that this feud must end, here and now.

Violet and the unofficial team of JSA successfully repel the Hero Slayer's forces as the recent commotion begins to decline. Both Justin and Violet explain to each other their experiences with dealing with their respective battles. Justin explains that Clouse pushed both he and Fidelia to their limits, while Violet explains that she defeated Noelle alone, with the help of the special elixir Justin concocted for her to drink. Then afterwards, a familiar face approaches the group as Fidelia sees beyond his disguise.

After hearing John Doe's deceitful role in the Hero Quake's demise, Violet is beside herself. Anti-Spur then seeks to atone, offering the princess to marry him. Clearly, Violet rejects Anti-Spur's proposal, and things don't stop there. Anti-Spur's most devout servant, Nancy, appears to the scene heartbroken with the revelation that after all her years of loyal service to Anti-Spur, he'd still chosen someone else over her. This greatly annoys Anti-Spur as he strips away Nancy's sentience, reducing her to another one of his obedient, mindless zombies. This blatant act of cruelty only strengthens both Violet's and the heroes' resolve to stand against Anti-Spur. Anti-Spur then unleashes every zombie in his arsenal to annihilate both the princess and the unofficial team of JSA. However, Ike returns to the scene- now with a battalion armed and ready to rescue his comrades.

The invasion of Esteban finally reaches its climax as Anti-Spur continues his scheme to assassinate the King of Esteban. Meanwhile, both the unofficial team and Esteban forces struggle against a King Drake summoned by Anti-Spur. What will our heroes do in order to change the outcome in this war?

After sealing away the King Drake using the three blessed items (the Rosario, a green sacred gem, and the Untitled Ambition), a blinding light engulfs the area as Violet suddenly disappears. The princess is taken away to another realm where she meets her mother, Leda Azora. What happens next is anyone's guess.
