- The glee club members are saying goodbye to each other when two old guests come and attempt to the save club.
- We open with the kids returning to McKinley to say farewell to New Directions. The is a rivalry between Rachel and Mercedes, who both have projects.
It is the 100th lesson and Will's assignment is for the kids to re-invent one of the songs they've performed in the past. April Rhodes shows up, pops some virgin champagne and she and Will lead them in "Raise Your Glass."
Puck, who is now in the Air Force, catches up with Quinn and meets her new boyfriend Biff.
Brittany updates Santana on what's been going on with her mathematical studies at MIT. Quinn, Santana and Brittany perform "Toxic." Biff barely pays attention and everybody notices. Brittany tells Santana she wasn't happy with her dancing and thinks she needs to stick to math.
During an episode of Fondue for Two Brittany has on Rachel and Mercedes. They both want to sing "Defying Gravity" and decide to hold a diva-off.
At Breadstix Biff calls some of Quinn's friends into their booth and asks them to describe Quinn. It becomes clear she's not giving Biff the full picture of who she really is, in the hopes of getting in with Biff's family.
Since April pays for the auditorium, it seems that she is allowed to decide who performs there. She and Will tell Sue this should mean New Directions are saved, but Sue wants time to look at the paperwork.
Rachel and Mercedes perform the diva-off, along with Kurt. They sing "Defying Gravity." Afterwards Will tell the kids to hold off on the vote until the following day.
Brittany continues to stress over her math stuff. Santana tries to get her out of the funk with a dance number but Brittany declines.
April talks to Blaine and Kurt about their engagement. Santana takes the stage and asks Brittany to do a dance song with her. She starts to sing "Valerie" and Brittany eventually gets involved.
Puck requests them move to the auditorium for his number. He sings "Keep Holding On" with the kids circled around him. Quinn in particular gets emotional. Afterwards she tells Puck she'd forgotten about her past. He wants her to hold onto who she is.
Before the diva vote Santana stands up and tells everybody how horrible of a human being Rachel is. A tearful Rachel walks out.
Mercedes finds Rachel in the bathroom and tries to comfort her by talking about the business and hearing negative things. They hug.
Sue tells Will and April that her gift to fund the auditorium has run out. She blames Will's glee club spending on the issue. She also tells April that she's under investigation by the SEC and her assets have been frozen. Will is furious with April for giving him hope.
Quinn tells Biff about the baby and he's furious. He starts insulting her and Puck steps in. Puck beats him up and tosses him into the dumpster.
Will collect the diva-off vote. Rachel and Mercedes return to the choir room and say they've reconsidered the vote. Will tells them it was a tie. April apologizes to the kids for disappointing them and brings in Holly Holliday. She leads the kids in a rousing version of "Happy."
Puck and Quinn look at Finn's jersey in the locker room. She says Biff is going back to Yale, alone. The discuss that Rachel was Finn's soul mate and they did him a favor. Puck says he loves her and wants to know if there is a reason he should stay. Quinn chases Puck down in the hall and tells him to stay.
At the same time Santana and Brittany also reconnect. Brittany thinks they belong together, although Santana is nervous about how long it took her to get over Brittany. Santana is torn.
Will brings the kids to auditorium and shows them Finn's plaque will hang there permanently. They express their emotions at the club coming to an end. Will thanks them for going on the ride with him and breaks down. April and Holly watch this from the rafters and agree to figure out a solution.
