Gu-deok, disguised as Ok Tae-young, hides to avoid revealing her identity. She helps capture bandits to avenge Tae-young's death, catching Lady Han's interest. Seo-in, now Cheon Seung-hwi, meets her.

Gu-deok, pretending to be Ok Tae-young, hides in a secluded annex to avoid revealing her true identity. To avenge Tae-young's death, Gu-deok disguises herself with a face-covering hood and helps capture a gang of bandits who attacked a roadside inn. Lady Han becomes intrigued by Gu-deok's cleverness and resourcefulness. Seo-in, now living as a storyteller named Cheon Seung-hwi after leaving home, crosses paths with Gu-deok under their new identities.—TVING

Goo Deoki confesses to the grandmother that she lied and that Tae Young actually died. The grandmother tells her to live as Tae Young until the bandit is arrested. But after seeing how well-versed Deoki is in everything, the grandmother lets her live as Tae Young in her house. One day, a famous storyteller, Chon Seung Hwi visits Deoki's village, and she finds out he's been writing novels about her encounter with Seo In.—VIU
