  • Warning: Spoilers
"Seven Devils" is centered around the seven deadly sins and tells short stories in episodes to illustrate them and evoke thoughts around them.

I really have to confess that I simply don't get what the movie tries to tell me. Some of the episodes are quite entertaining, others are straight-out bizarre or just leave you wondering. Generally, it felt a bit like an art installation went berserk. I do think that a lot of thought and effort were put into this film and thus I don't want to speak to badly about it but I guess that a bit more stringency would have suited the plot and the film overall really well.

All in all this is a very artsy film that some will like and many others won't. To me the message didn't get clear but if you are a fan of small, independent films that are very brain-based, you might want to give it a try.
  • This movie wasn't great at all. Maybe my understanding of the seven deadly sins is skewed or something. Because all of the shorts in this film made no sense for the sin they were representing. If it did, then it was for a couple of seconds then the film goes off in the opposite tangent. I should of stopped at the first sin and just be done with it since that one was a joke. There was nothing there about lust other than 1 sex scene.

    Bad!
Bad, bad and even worse!!! I hated everything. The stories are no note wonders. The acting (if you can call what these actors did acting) was unimaginative, uninspired and as wooden as a log cabin. Even the music was horrible. I didn't even like the font used for the beginning credits. Please don't watch this...save yourself the 90 minutes and do something more fun...like getting a root canal!!!
  • Strange anthology, large indie cast all of whom are unknown. Really creative when dealing with the seven deadly sins, though at times it felt a bit slow and arty. The last segment was my favorite, was really poetic. I think indies like this are great for new filmmakers, and I enjoy watching them. I'd recommend this film to others who like indie films and films that are slightly different from the usual types - as this is quite surreal 'nd fun.
