Maddox Holton starred in Ben Rider's first professional short film Aquarius' Mule (2013). His father, Carl Holton, is an Associate Producer of Seven Devils.

Some of the segments for the film had several drafts with different characters, locations and scenarios developed. For example, the original draft of 'Pride' revolved around an aging vampire set in a warehouse. When it came to selecting which route was selected for each segment, writer/director Ben Rider often picked what narrative was best suited to the overall anthology in terms of how it represented the sin it was focusing on, the potential it provided for style and performance range; not to mention production costs and availability of locations, which occasionally resulted in rewrites.
