Turkey time means something very different in Albert’s house.

The turkey, who was rescued by TV producer Brant Pinvidic, is a pet who has captivated the Internet with his penchant for giving hugs (a Facebook video of one embrace has been viewed 14 million times).

Albert and his mate Princess were rescued together by Pinvidic — who has produced shows like Extreme Weight Loss and the Kitten Bowl — from a farm that sells chickens and turkeys for the dinner table. On Thanksgiving 2016, Albert served up something extra special.

Fur will fly on Su-purr Bowl Sunday when kittens take the field for Kitten Bowl II!

Adorable felines will go whisker to whisker and claw to claw in Kitten Stadium. They'll climb up the goal posts, tackle one another for possession of the ball and partake in more football-themed fun.

The players will even have a locker room to prepare for the big game and furry fans will have a designated area to tailgate.

Animal kingdom counter-programming ruled Super Bowl Sunday as viewers had a choice between three cable specials, each more adorable than the last: Animal Planet’s veteran Puppy Bowl, Hallmark Channel’s newcomer rival Kitten Bowl and NatGeo’s sarcastic freshman Fish Bowl (which is, yup, mainly just a fish swimming in a bowl). Here’s how they ranked:

Puppy Bowl: The 10th annual telecast had puppies, kittens for the half-time show, penguin cheerleaders and a bird tweeting updates. — Winner

Get I get an a-meow?! The year’s most important cat-related sporting event, the Kitten Bowl, was held Feb. 2, and it was nothing short of a-meow-zing! In other news, that will be my final cat pun of this article, I promise.

What I can’t promise, however, is that I won’t highlight all the incredible cat puns delivered by the game, itself! With players named Tomcat Brady and Ferrell Owens, the three-hour event was a veritable smörgåsbord of verbal delight — not to mention visual cuteness.

While there was some football involved (I think), the first-ever Kitten Bowl also focused on events that cats can actually do, including obstacle courses with lasers, hoops and hurdles.

In separate specials on Sunday, Feb. 2, Animal Planet celebrates its 10th canine-centric Super Bowl Sunday broadcast with "Puppy Bowl X," and Hallmark Channel presents its first "Kitten Bowl."

"There's no reason why you can't switch back and forth," Beth Stern tells Zap2it, the host of "Hallmark Channel's Inaugural Kitten Bowl." The kittens, all of which have been adopted, have such names as Feline Manning, Tim Teepaw and Jay Catler.

Players as cute as those competing in the Hallmark Channel's first Kitten Bowl (Sunday, Feb. 2, noon/11 a.m. c) can get away with anything, even using a time-out to climb up cohost Beth Stern for a cuddle. Apparently there is a televised football game called ‘The Super Bowl’ airing on Feb. 2, but we couldn’t care less.
