While her parents were having a party Kerstin and her fiancee Arne was outside in the garden. When she turned around on the side and looked at Arne. She met his eyes. Then she must have seen the revolver. But probably Kerstin never felt any pain - the ball was fired at just a few centimeters and killed her immediately. Kerstin was buried on March 4, 1946, at Västra Frölunda cemetery. Many people came to say goodbye to the young girl. In the background stood the mentally ill Karl Axel Willemoth and stared. He had read everything about the murder of Kerstin and was obsessed with the incident. At night he found no peace. He has to see her again, so he cycled from his mother's house to the cemetery to dig her up.

"The Swamp Murders" was the tabloid press's designation of three murders committed by Hans Marmbo in Stockholm in the fall of 1966. Marmbo, who was burglary and alcoholic, first murdered his accomplice Per Erik Hallsén after a failed burglary, then sex buyer Nils Erik Stenbäck and finally the prostitute Siv Gryting. Marmbo murdered during drunk outbreaks and does not seem to have had any more thoughtful motives. He lowered the corpse at Riddarholmskajen and Strandvägen.

On Tuesday afternoon, August 17, 1965, the 67-year-old retired driver Carl Johan Andersson was found murdered in his small apartment at Påskbergsgatan 6 in Gothenburg. Andersson was gay and the murder is a typical example of a homophobic murder. Even the reporting at the time was clearly homophobic.
