The Devil in the Doorway is well written and acted out. I was impressed with the acting. The film maker made it feel longer than it was, where parts feel "suspended in time," lending to powerful interactions. I continued thinking about the conversations and certain words from the film after watching it. It is a contemplative and emotional piece. Many people from all walks of life will be able to relate to this film's stirring message. The story was so deep for being a short and I became so attached to the characters, which is not an easy task for a short film. I could have seen it made as full length easily. Needless to say, when the film ended, I wanted it to be longer.
