I am curious how the writers will finish this show. Jung Se-ok (Park Eun-bin) is the talented neurosurgeon who lost her license because of her mentor Dr. Choi Deok-hee (Sul Kyung-gu). Unlike other dramas, she deserved it because she is totally wild, selfish and violent. After losing her license she become a illegal neurosurgeon for hire and also a psycho killer (similar to 'Dexter').
Park Eun-bin excell in her acting making her alone a must watch show.
It's interesting how the Korea's drama writers writes complex female characters giving opportunity to a actress show her talent.
It's early to recomend but deserve a watch.
Episodes 3-4: Now I totally recomend the show.
Park Eun bin deserve a Korean version of EMMY award. That diabolical smile is perfect.
Episodes 7-8 : Amazing series, one on the best I watched.
I sugest to watch "Extraordinay attorney Woo" to see how good actress Park Eun-bin is.

I have lots thought about this drama , which is not related to normal medical, very enjoyable but its not relatable to reality. YES! Personality disorder can be happen to any person why not DOCTORS! In this series you will seen the pychopath Doctors But as it is medical drama i think drama should be more focus on surgery. CLIMAX should be great and give very good conclusion to the series by providing us the operative seen of Dr. Choi. It will be more perfect and compact. Thriller + medical drama can be full filled with the last operative seen. But they Didn't. It has more killing seens than the medical operation.
Undoublty legendary actor Sul Kyung-gu and park eun Bin acted very well in this series, as they are the main character. The madness she show to the series is Unbelievable.

This show is insane-and I'm obsessed. A gloriously unhinged queen who could stab someone and still make you cheer for her. Kim Ji-eun delivers a masterclass in controlled madness-her character is terrifying and magnetic. From her unpredictable mood swings to her terrifyingly intense stare, she embodies the role of a morally ambiguous, possibly psychotic genius with such conviction that you can't look away.
The twists make zero sense but who cares when it's this entertaining? It's like the writers threw logic out the window and just went full "what if we made her even crazier?" And you know what? It works.
Watch it if: You love dark humor, unpredictable thrillers, and female leads who might actually be sociopaths. Skip it if: You need your dramas to play by the rules.

Will there be an explanation about Se-ok's parents? Since I am also a medical health worker, Seeing Se-ok like.. she's smart, but seems lonely also..hyper. You will know if you watch it. Go watch it now.
One of the projects where we get to see the performances of 2 baeksang winning actors, and it was great, no disappointment. No one can set a limit on how versatile the characters they play can be. Especially actress Park Eunbin, to what point and where did you look for references to bring Se-ok's character to life, i'm getting goosebumps. Can't wait for all the episodes to be released, please just release them all.

HyperKnife completely took me by surprise. I went in not really being a thriller person - I usually avoid anything too intense - but this series had me hooked from the start. And it's all thanks to the incredible performances, especially from Park Eun Bin and Sul Kyung Gu.
Park Eun Bin is absolutely stunning as Dr. Jung Seok - a genius surgeon walking the fragile line between brilliance and instability. Her character is obsessive, volatile, and emotionally chaotic, but somehow she still feels deeply human. It's that emotional complexity that Park Eun Bin captures so effortlessly. She brings such nuance and control to every scene, making even the darkest parts of Jung Seok's journey feel strangely relatable. The balance she strikes between inner madness and outward restraint is just masterful.
And Sul Kyung Gu, as her mentor Choi Deok Hee, is equally compelling. The two of them together - wow. Their mentor-student dynamic is one of the most gripping parts of the series. It's intense, unsettling, layered with unspoken emotion, and at times, even hauntingly tender. It's not often we get to see a relationship like this take center stage, and they absolutely made it unforgettable.
While HyperKnife is labeled a medical thriller, it's so much more than that. It's bold, stylish, emotionally charged - and surprisingly reflective. The cinematography is beautiful, the pacing is sharp, and the soundtrack fits like a glove. It dives deep into power, identity, obsession, and how broken people connect, all without ever feeling overdone.
And yes - I was personally satisfied with the ending. It gave just enough closure while still leaving room for interpretation.
If you're looking for a series that's daring, emotionally rich, and driven by powerhouse performances, this is it. HyperKnife doesn't just entertain - it stays with you.

And that's not to say this series is bad. Far from it. Story is tight, acting solid as only Korean actors can deliver, clean direction and cinematography.
There is a high body count right from the beginning. And that is a bit deceptive. Cause the story is actually a psychological story. The blood and crime are just side stories. If you see pass that the tone is actually quite pessimistic.
The two main characters depicted here are contrary to the story, that they are actually the fringe of society. Geniuses that are trapped by a mediocre surrounding, people and institutions. Their motives, yearnings and goals no one can understand. They are like Batman and Joker. Two of the same half.
The story arch is actually very simple. But pride, ego, and miscommunication gets in the way. But isnt that the most often root cause to people issues ?
The ending also befits that unusual and difficult mindset. So not straight forward, not easy to watch or appreciate.

I just finished watching the first couple of episodes of Hyper Knife, and I'm already completely hooked! 😱 Park Eun Bin delivers a phenomenal performance - her ability to seamlessly shift between deep contemplation, high-stakes surgeries, and chilling moments of calculated decisions is absolutely mesmerizing. Every scene feels so intense that I found myself holding my breath as the tension built up. The musical score perfectly complements these moments, enhancing the suspense and emotional weight of the story. As someone who's watched countless thrillers and usually predicts how things will unfold, I'm pleasantly surprised by how unpredictable Hyper Knife is. The plot keeps me guessing, and I have no idea what's coming next - which makes it even more exciting! If you're a fan of gripping narratives, unexpected twists, and powerful performances, Hyper Knife is a must-watch. 🔪🔥

This series delves into the psyche of the human mind, showing how every action leads to another. It demonstrates that a 'good' person is not always good, and a 'bad' person is not always bad either. How certain circumstances and experiences can drastically change a person.
Park Eun-Bin's first-ever sinister role, showcases her wide range of acting skills. Well prepared cast, plot and direction. The series also dives into complex ethical medical dilemmas, adding layers of moral conflict that keep things gripping. The first two episodes were already intense, which keeps me coming back for more.

From gripping surgical scenes to intense power struggles, Hyper Knife continues to push boundaries. The tension between Seok and Deokhee escalates, blurring the lines between loyalty and betrayal. As secrets unravel and stakes rise, every moment feels like a ticking time bomb. Park Eun-bin and Sol Kyung-gu deliver phenomenal performances, making each confrontation pulse with raw emotion. With breathtaking cinematography, a haunting score, and a masterfully woven plot, Hyper Knife keeps proving why it's one of the most compelling dramas of the year. Now, with the final stretch approaching, one question remains-who will make it out unscathed?

Hyper Knife is a new Korean production starring Park Eun Bin who has grown to stardom being the main character in the Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Porcelanie King , Castaway Diva gives a stunning performance presenting Dr Seok. Telling the truth it might be a vain jon trying to find more versatile actresses in the movie indistry in the world. Her Dr. Seok is so full of her righteousness, of her infallible certainty that she is right mixed with the desire to perform what she thinks is right that we fall for her and treat the legal actions of Dr. Choi as totally unfair. She gives such a trustworthy image of a bereft and betrayed person which is extremely rare in today's cinema world. Master piece of acting.
I can strongly recommend the series to everyone, not only the ones dedicated to their jobs beyond all limits.

If you enjoy serious medical dramas that offer more than procedural narrative, "Hyper Knife" is a must-watch. It has a gripping plot that keeps viewers interested from beginning to end, along with outstanding performances, particularly from Park Eun-bin.
The performance by Park Eun-bin in "Hyper Knife" is simply remarkable. She is well-known for her versatility and performs this difficult character with sincerity and energy, winning accolades from both audiences and reviewers. Her portrayal of Se-ok's psychological collapse is so nuanced that it leaves viewers feeling both pity and ambivalence for her behavior. Her performance is enhanced by Sul Kyung-gu's nuanced portrayal of Choi Deok-hee, a man whose personal motivations and imperfections add to the emotional richness of the drama.

Park Eun-bin's acting, which has been shown so far, is showing the peak of acting as if it were nothing. The delicate facial muscle movements of the actor colored in Jeong Se-ok and the sound of breathing in each scene make you immerse yourself in. The acting of the eyes proves again why she is the best actor. She is showing a role in her way that can slightly differently see the typical psychopath that we have seen in many movies and dramas. Perhaps, if you are curious about Choi Deok-hee's chilly, more cynical appearance, which does not contain more human emotions than jeong Se-ok, I recommend you to watch this drama.

I was always going to watch Hyperknife being a fan of medical thrillers and k-dramas but throw in South Korean acting royalty like Park Eunbin and Sul Kyunggu - it is simply unmissable viewing.
Park Eunbin's transformation into the psychotic genius neurosurgeon Jeong Seok is nothing short of astounding. Seok is the opposite of any other character that Park Eunbin has played in the past however her dedication to detail that has become synonymous with her as an actor is undeniable.
Her previous roles have seen her become proficient in the violin (Chae Songah "Do You Like Brahms? 2020), take on a gender-bender dual role (King Lee Hwi/Dami "The King's Affection" 2021), research and portray an autistic lawyer (Woo Young Woo "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" 2022), and take singing lessons for ten months all while releasing OSTs for the drama (Seo Mokha "Castaway Diva" 2023). So great is her acting prowess that she was awarded South Korea's greatest achievement in entertainment by winning the Baeksang Arts Award Grand Prize (Daesang) in 2023 for her portrayal of Woo Young Woo.
The addition of Jeong Seok to this already remarkable acting career is truly awe-inspiring. Previously Park Eunbin's roles have been seen as innocent and trustworthy. Jeong Seok on the other hand is wild, unhinged, chaotic, and obsessive. This role requires impassioned insanity coupled with an uneasy calm and seeing Park Eunbin act opposite Sul Kyunggu is something to behold. They way they are almost battling in the acting stakes during their scenes together is so incredibly mesmerising.
I was lucky enough to attend the premiere in Seoul where I witnessed the first two episodes. Time flew by as I found the story and the acting so gripping. The cinematography is almost art-house in its aesthetic - supremely unique, but it works so well. The music is like a character within itself rather than merely in the background. Jeong Seok's soundtrack being broken xylophone tones while Choi Deokhee's (Sul Kyunggu) track resonating slow cello sounds.
I don't want to give away any of the story of Hyper Knife as I believe it is best watched knowing very little. Just sit back and enjoy this masterpiece. I will be interested to see how the story plays out however right now, I can't stop rewatching to see what else I can discover. The minute details, the character interactions. Consider me hooked and wanting more. This show deserves all the awards already. Bravo to the director and crew. Bravo to the cast. Bravo Park Eunbin.

The suspense of this drama keeps me at the edge of my seat always. Why? I never know what will go on next, and plus every week we only get to watch 2 episodes upon it is being released. For 5-6 days od the week, i an dreading myself and always lookinh forward for thr next episode. Plus the versatility of Park Eun Bin is a whole new level of acting. Park Eun Bin's acting is Hyperknife is the first medical thriller for her, and the character JeongSeOk is so so real, SeOk kills only when is needed, loves surgery so much until she takes it personally. She is so confident of her skills that she will not give up even a slight mistake in yhe surgery, SeOk is so determine to finish off the surgery with 100% success rate. Plus Hyperknife sometimes is also hilarious on the conversation side, until it is terrifying to know that such person would exists in this life. Thus we can never know a person's trueself from the exterior of the person itself. LOVED it... Hyperknife is awesome!!!

This show is so incredible, and the acting is out of this world, especially from Park Eun Bin. Her character is so different from what she played before, and she makes it so believable and empathetic, despite some of the character's actions. She never fails with her all performances, she is such an outstanding actress. The music in the show is superb and the cinematography as well. Each episode feels short even though they are around one hour each as the story and acting performances draw us in. Overall this is a highly recommended show and I hope they win lots of awards and many people will watch this masterpiece!

The new series that came out is simply great. I enjoyed watching every moment. The actors in the series really let the viewers get sucked into the plot. I watched the episodes twice because I really liked it.
Park Eun Bin plays her role amazingly. After seeing her in more than 10 series and each one is different in the way she acts, there's no doubt that she's doing a great job here. She never disappoints. It was the best choice they could have made!!
I've been waiting impatiently for the series to come out and it didn't disappoint me again.
I really feel satisfied with every minute and I'm already waiting for the next episodes to come out!!!!

Main characters of this series are pshchopaths that I have never seen before.
They were professor and student but now they were mutual enemies.
Thet are both genius brain neurosurgeons so they can kill and save people life. This point is really impotant paradox that characters give us and it can be little confused but it should be interesting point at series for you I think parkeunbin and sullkyungu's acting is so good and fresh. Their perfect acting concentrate on hyperknife sometimes they thrilled me and somerimes make me laugh I definitely assure you that one thing Hyperknife is really new.

This series really captivates the audience with its strong characters and its storyline full of twists and surprises. Park Eun Bin gives one of her most powerful performances here which says a lot considering her Daesang-winning performance in Extraordinary Attorney Woo was almost unmatchable. My eyes are glued to the screen whenever she appears as she mesmerises with her incomparable presence and emotional performance. This show is highly recommended as it has everything... great actors and characters, engrossing storylines, the soundtrack/ost is absolutely wonderful, cinematography is chef's kiss, direction and production is first class... please watch it!

At first I was skeptical, wondering how this movie would be, could actress Park Eun Bin fully embody her character from her previous movies? Could she escape the shadow of her previous roles? And it's true that Park Eun Bin is a trustworthy actress. She surprised me from one surprise to another. She played the character Jeong Se - ok, while watching the movie I forgot the name of the actress Park Eun Bin and instead it was Jeong Se - ok, a crazy doctor but also very talented. The movie is amazing, the cast is amazing. Park Eun Bin played the role so well that I was immersed in the character Seong Ok. Don't miss it!! I hope the film will resonate worldwide. Wishing Park Eun Bin many awards with this medical thriller.

This is my first korean drama - Hyperknife. Reason for watching this, is because the trailer is intriguing and i was full of questions regarding the articles that I read - especially the one on medical drama but focus on the interaction between Jeong SeOk and Dr Choi DeokHee?
In the first 15 minutes of this drama, I was captivated by the storyline that it entails. In addition to that, I was also captured by a small actress which later i found out the name of the actress - Park Eun Bin. How could SeOk be so talented, yet selfish, and also violent at the same time? I could not believed my eyes until i watched Jeong SeOk in Hyperknife. Park Eun Bin is really an amazing actress. I am a fan already. This is a must watch drama, and a must re-watch drama.

Hyperknife is the drama everyone is looking forward to since 2024. Park Eun Bin yet never fails to disappoint her viewers. The change of image for the character Jeung SeOk, the gestures, the tattoo, every action of SeOk does, is definitely acted out by Park Eun Bin. Even learning the right way to perform neuro surgery, was so near to perfect. And now, her fans never question her for how she analyses each character, because Park Eun Bin does do the homework in analysing the characters. The effort in studying the character and coming out to execute the character out, is always so wonderful, and with zero errors. Imagine even the half brain tattoo was thought by Park Eun Bin. We or I myself always believed and trusted in Park Eun Bin!!
With the awesome directorship Kim JungHyun, the actors can perform at their very best in every scene. When i saw the credits of this drama, the production team is like the production team that produced a movie!!! They are so meticulous in preparing for this drama up to the small little details. Bravo to the cast members and production team!!!

Always captivated by Park Eunbin's acting skills. From the storyline, layout, cinematography All the best. The unique relationship between teacher and student, the best combination of Park Eunbin and Sol Kyunggyu's acting. We are carried away in the atmosphere of the drama that is presented like a cinema. The theme of the drama itself is new for me who watches K-dramas because it carries a medical theme and at the same time is a thriller that presents the genius abilities of doctors and suspenseful scenes that make us surprised are the best sensations. I hope this drama gets more attention, it's perfect.

Hyperknife is the first medical thriller that I have watched that is not focused on the medical surgeries, or medicine side, but the interaction between Jeong SeOK (Park Eun Bin) and Dr Choi DeokHee (Sul KyungGu). How they love and hate each other at the same time. Plus the storyline keeps me asking questions about "why?" or "how is this possible?" as the episode runs. Eventually, answers started to appear, which i love the suspense of how the drama unfolds.
Another intense part is the music that Hyperknife uses. The combination of orchestral instrument producing the right rhythm, tone, and collaboration, at the right scenes, is indeed epic as well. Hyperknife is never a dull drama, always keeping me on the edge of my couch.
Hyperknife deserves ALL the awards for Best Drama 2025, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Directorship, Best Props, Best Script Writing!!!
