A British police Sergeant does not run an investigation, definitely not a death. That is given to a plain-cloth police detective. Also, the office Smitty first talk to was in uniform and not a three-striped Sergeant but a chief inspector, too high for a single death. The British forensic team was improperly dressed: No face mask, dust-free white overall. Also, it is quite absurd the British Police would not conduct an investigation of a foreign nationality.

One student says, "I was accepted for pre-med on a full scholarship." Pre-med does not exist in the UK that is a US and some other countries style course. In the UK, you take a straight five-year programme or four-year accelerated programme or programmes that include a foundation year. Yes, there is a University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT).

There is no such university as Blackmore University in the UK. Also, official names of British universities are 'University of XXX' not just XXX University.

There are not really secret societies or US-style frats in British Universities. UK universities each have a student union which organises a range of student-led clubs. Yet another example of poor research and American terminology.

British universities do not offer majors; that is a US-style degree. Students study a single subject for a three-year course. Some universities offer joint undergraduate degrees where you study two subjects equally. Clearly, scriptwriters did not conduct research.

British Police and Police buildings have never been called 'Police Department' or PD. This is an American term. Police are called by their regional names: Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Thames Valley Police or Cheshire Constabulary. Police Department is American, in the UK, it is a Police Station.

A town in the UK is too small for a top university or most British universities. The Universities of Oxford and Cambridge are both in cities not towns.
