Lieutenant Michael Trax, a respected officer of the UNSC, is on a mission to capture one of the covenant's strongest bases. Unfortunately, he and his platoon have a difficult time breaking through the enemy defenses.

Trax arrives to his new home, Operation Perfection. Everything appears to be fine and well, but deeper in the base lurks a dark secret.

By orders of the CO, Agent Miranda Wells shows Trax around the facility introducing him to her good friends from each department.

Agent Miller shows Trax around the base, pointing out all of the strengths and weaknesses of the department. More importantly, he warns Trax the dangers of disrespecting the CO.

Miller assigns Trax with security duties he is not excited about. But as every good soldier, he must follow orders. He begins to learn his way around Operation Perfection, and comes to find a dark truth.

Just as the CO predicted, the covenant has found Operation Perfection. Trax is awakened early for a battle at the southern gates, where the enemy is fighting with all of their might.

After the covenant's attack, Miller proposes a counterstrike. The team must launch an attack on outpost 23-B in order to strengthen their outer territory.

Trax and Miller push the covenant forces back to their base, and hope to take control of the outer territory. Meanwhile, the CO learns of a company inspection coming soon and orders Ben to speed up production on the Experiment.

As Trax and Miller draw closer to the covenant tower, it becomes more difficult for them to see victory. Meanwhile, the CO prepares for Officer Jackson's arrival.

After successfully taking control of outpost 23-B, Trax and Miller stay to help unpack and leave for Operation Perfection. Meanwhile, Ben seeks out psychology help from Miranda in order to finish X-53.

Returning home, Trax gets a glimpse at the company's latest and greatest experiment; X-53. Meanwhile, Officer Jackson inspects the facility, unamused with it's lack of production.

The inspectors thrilled to see X-53 put to the test, but Ben has his doubts with the its safety. Trax is back to his usual job getting daily reports, but his schedule quickly changes once he makes a visit to Agent Simon's department.

Trax hasn't been agreeing with some of the CO's decisions lately, and decides to make his voice heard.

After X-53's rampage, Trax returns to the security department and makes an intriguing discovery.

Miller and Wolfe report their findings to the CO, only to have their plan shot down. Meanwhile, Miranda gives X-53 a psychology analysis, and the results aren't what Ben hopes.

The group prepares for the covenant's invasion, as an old friend joins the fight. Meanwhile, Ben gives the CO X-53's psychiatric results.

The Covenant is literally on Operation Perfection's doorstep, as all the department heads split with their teams to defend each gateway. The battle is about to begin.

The CO's plan to stay and fight has failed, leaving Miller and his team with a small unit. Evacuation is the final option.

The remaining troops are ready to leave from the Northern gates, but Miller and Trax have one last task to take care of.

Trax goes back to get Miranda, only to find her at gun point. The CO won't let her go without having Trax giving up something he has. The season finale of The Perfect Soldier Evolution.
