The event was originally designated for established organizers, but due to conflicts and excessive costs, the producers ultimately entrusted it to Emille Joson, a seasoned expert in direction and the sister of Hermana Mayor Dina Joson.
The event became one of the most talked-about and unforgettable Pistang Bayan celebrations in Plaridel, Bulacan, cementing its legacy as one of the most iconic Pailaw sa Bayan festivities in the history of Bulacan's Pistahan.
Jericho Rosales and Piolo Pascual were the initial choices for the artist parade, but Joson dismissed the idea, believing that featuring actors from different generations would attract a broader audience. While watching Jeepney TV, where both the original film and the remake of Mula sa Puso aired back-to-back, she had a realization-to cast the actors who portrayed Warren, a character bridging the '90s and Gen Z eras. This led to the selection of Patrick Garcia and Paul Salas.
Jonalyn Viray was Emille Joson's original choice to perform during Salinan ng Hermanidad, as she had been a devoted fan of the singer since Darna (2005), where Viray performed the theme song. However, her sister preferred Light of the Million Mornings to be performed during the ceremony.
