Gina Gershon, Alyssa Milano, Mary-Louise Parker, Retta, and Elizabeth Lail in Elsbeth (2024)

Trivia

Ramen Holiday

Elsbeth

Edit
All the people that Elsbeth proved were killers in various episodes are in the same block as Elsbeth. Each arrested accused killer has a prison number on their uniform. Each number corresponds to the episode they appeared in.
Elsbeth has a dream where the women are singing Cell Block Tango from Chicago. Alyssa Milano recently played Roxie Hart on Broadway in Chicago. Moreover, as in Chicago, the prison warden was called "Mama".
Inmate Numbers match the Season and Episode (00SEE = SxEE) 00101 = Alex Modarian 00104 = Margo Clarke 00106 = Vanessa Holmes 00214 = Pupetta Del Ponte 00216 = Freya And so on.

Jean Valjean's inmate number was 24601 in the book Les Miserables. Elsbeth's inmate number is 24602.
Elsbeth's prisoner number is 24602, one more than Jean Valjean's number in Les Miserables (book and many, many movies). The prisoner numbers for the various women that Elsbeth had put in jail appear to be the number of their previous episodes - Alyssa Milano appeared as Pupetta in season 2, episode 14, so her prisoner number was 00214.
This installment seems like it is a reunion of past characters, who were for the most part were antagonists which Elsbeth encountered in her investigations:
  • Stephen Moyer (Abusive Theater Director Alex Modarian) - Season 1, Episode 1, Pilot (2024)
  • Retta (Fraudulent Matchmaker Margo Clarke) - Season 1, Episode 4, Love Knocked Off (2024)
  • Gina Gershon (Vindictive Plastic Surgeon Dr. Vanessa Holmes) - Season 1, Episode 6, An Ear for an Ear (2024)
  • Elizabeth Lail (Fraudulent Tech Executive Quinn Powers) - Season 1, Episode 8, Artificial Genius (2024)
  • Arian Moayed (White Knight Mixologist Joe Dillon) - Season 1, Episode 9, Sweet Justice (2024)
  • André De Shields (Vain Fashion Designer Matteo Hart ) - Season 1, Episode 10, A Fitting Finale (2024)
  • Alyssa Milano (Scorned Mafia Princess Pupetta Del Ponte) - Season 2, Episode 14, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant (2025)
  • Mary-Louise Parker (Scorned Professional Organizer Freya Frostad) - Season 2, Episode 16, Hot Tub Crime Machine (2025)

Also there was a brief mention of Pamela Adlon character as the volatile chef from Elsbeth Flips the Bird (2024). Moreover, Ethan Slater reprised his role as the rookie Police Officer from Four Body Problem (2025).
