After graduation, Sanju joins village head Mahendra Singh's political system. When conflict arises between Triveni and the village head, Sanju forms a group to challenge Mahendra's 30-year rule in the upcoming election.

Sanju, the son of the retired teacher from the village, after completing his graduation and influenced by the political power and success of the powerful and wealthy village head Mahendra Singh, joins the system as an ordinary worker with his friends. However, several events in his life impact his ego. Taking advantage of the opposition between Triveni, a powerful female leader working for the village head and a strong anti-village head Triveni, Sanju is determined to form a group to uproot his 30-year-old electoral roots and stand against the village head in the elections. Sanju is placed against the village head in the election. The story is set in the village of Rampura. Elections are approaching, and the long-time Sarpanch, Mahendra Singh, is being challenged by Triveni Mishra. Mahendra is powerful but corrupt.Sanju, a college graduate, works for Mahendra despite his father's wishes for him to find a better job. Sanju secretly loves Mahendra's daughter, Madhu, who is studying for the IAS and disapproves of her father's actions.Lattan oversees Mahendra's illegal activities, including a beedi production unit. Bhuri, in charge of the unit, wants to secure government jobs for the women involved but faces resistance from Lattan. A corrupt minister is exposed by an RTI officer named Aatmaprakash but is protected by Mahendra.Madhu confides in Sanju, and they often arrange beer parties together. Tensions rise when Sanju tries to help a poor man, Raghav, get a government house, leading to a confrontation with Lattan. Raghav tragically takes his own life.Sanju realizes he's just a servant to Mahendra and decides to engage in politics. Triveni supports his idea and plans a hunger strike. Sanju also helps Raghav's family secure a home.During Deepti's birthday party, Sanju confesses his feelings for Madhu but is left heartbroken. Deepak, Deepti's fiancé, dies in an accident.Sanju exposes corruption at the government ration shop and faces Mahendra's wrath.
