Will Branner is the fourth actor to portray the character of Professor Henry Hidgens, following Robert Manion in the original production of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (2018) and the first season of Nightmare Time (2020), Nick Lang in the second season of Nightmare Time, and Jeff Blim in the short film Workin' Boys (2023).
This is a remounted production of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (2018). The cast remained mostly the same, with only Robert Manion being replaced by Will Branner due to Manion's sexual harassment scandal. Branner previously appeared in the third installment of the Hatchetfield series Nerdy Prudes Must Die (2023) as the villain Max Jägerman.
