Mauri takes Per to the home of judo, Japan, where Per is forced to compete against a Japanese champion in front of a packed audience. They also find themselves in the middle of one of Japan's biggest TV shows and get to experience the culinary delights of Tokyo.

The duo travels to Iceland, where Mauri meets large parts of his family for the first time - but the meeting doesn't go as planned. Since Iceland is a small country, Mauri is convinced that he can make Per famous on the island, and he resorts to increasingly extreme methods to succeed in his mission. At the same time, Per wants Mauri to prove his Icelandic origins and subjects him to a series of tough tests - trials that almost break both Mauri and their friendship. As if that weren't enough, Per also forces Mauri to paint a self-portrait - with his penis.

The relationship between Mauri and Per is more strained and Mauri has decided to do things that Per appreciates. In Argentina they go dove hunting, watch football and Mauri also wants to challenge the macho culture by trying out life as a drag queen.
