Homosexual themes/content is discreetly depicted in a sub-plot.
The film contains homosexual references that include some scenes of same-sex kissing and intimacy. These are largely portrayed in relation to a secondary character, an assistant to the protagonist, who gets involved with a cross-dressing male prostitute.
There are also scenes featuring photographs depicting the assistant and the male prostitute in compromising positions. However, the scenes are not explicit and they are part of an overall plot by the German officials to blackmail and implicate the main protagonist.
