When landing in Las Vegas, Heather connects to a machine (199.256.08.21) as root. Any Unix/Linux system administrator worth his/her salt would have disabled remote root logins.
In The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), the real date of birth of David Webb is revealed to be Sept 13, 1970, however in the Treadstone documents found by Nicky Parsons early in this movie it is shown to be June 4th, 1978. The photograph shown on the same document in the Treadstone file is also entirely different than the photograph previously used in the earlier movies.
In The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), when the information for Nicky Parsons is being searched on screen, her details are listed as:- Parsons, Nicolette - Date of Birth: 28th March 1979.
In this movie, when the same information is brought up on screen, her details are listed as:- Nicolette Parsons (Nicky) - Date of Birth: 28th March 1983.
During the car chase on the Vegas Strip, Bourne passes the Paris and Bally's Hotels multiple times.
After 62 minutes, when Assets talks to his superior, he uses a normal cell phone and a second later, he uses a smart phone.
The location tracker that Bourne plants has a smartphone app that shows the latitude and longitude on the screen. The coordinates have only one decimal (e.g. 37.1), which makes them pointless at locating a target in close quarters, as is the case in the Vegas scene.
When Jason Bourne hits a vehicle while driving the Dodge Charger, despite hitting it head-on at high speed, the airbag does not deploy.
For the scenes taking place in Athens, both police and civilian vehicles have license plates which include letters that can't be found in the Greek alphabet, such as G and J. License plates in Greece only have letters that are common to both the Greek and the Latin alphabets.
Asset drives the SWAT vehicle down the strip and hits 28 cars head on and keeps on going, a complete impossibility. SWAT vehicles do not have the characteristics of a tank.
When the Asset arrives in the Athens International Airport (aka Eleftherios Venizelos), he meets with his liaison in an underground parking lot and gets his car. The AIA doesn't have an underground parking lot.
In the beginning of the movie when the CIA is tracking Jason Bourne in Greece through the crowds by camera, the CIA Director (Dewey) recognizes Jason on screen and calls him David Bourne instead of Jason Bourne.
--- He actually says "Stay with Bourne," not "David Bourne." Close captions confirm this.
During Bourne and the Asset's car chase in Las Vegas, there was one scene where you can see that the cars on the street had their lights on but no one in the driver's seat.
When meeting during a riot in Athens, Nicky has long blond hair flowing down, and stylish clothes, Bourne also well dressed. In other words they stand out like sore thumbs. Any aware agents would have worn hoodies and clothes like all the others, and could blend in at a moments notice. Also running against the flow of the rioters makes them stand out.
When the Asset was taking a cab from the airport to Aria, he was talking on the phone. One shot revealed the main camera on the rear of the phone is near the bottom, as opposed to the top with most designs.
The film is set in mid-October, as clearly indicated in multiple shots of iPhone screens during the Las Vegas sequence (all of which display the date as October 20, and most of the film's action takes place before then). However, nearly every exterior scene (aside from warmer-weather locations like Greece and Las Vegas) appears to have been filmed in late autumn or winter. The establishing shots for the CIA's Northern Virginia headquarters, for instance, show a blanket of snow on the ground, and the scenes filmed in Washington, D.C. have visibly barren trees. In reality, deciduous leaves in that area may have begun to change color; however, significant leaf-fall certainly would not have already occurred. As to snow, it is quite rare to have any there before November, and the average first snow in the mid-Atlantic region doesn't occur until mid-December.
In a London chase scene, when Jason is tinkering with a fire alarm control panel, we actually see two old ATX motherboards from a PC.
On the computer screen about 7 minutes into the movie, when the government server is being breached "DEPENDANT: JASON BOURNE" is shown. The correct word used in the Unites States on government records is DEPENDENT.
When Asset is watching football match, there is NAP - CRV 2-1 on the TV screen. NAP could be only FC Napoli (Italy) and CRV could be only FC Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) from Belgrade. Also, jerseys colours match (NAP in black, CRV in red).
Napoli didn't play any international match against Crvena Zvezda till 28.11.2018.
When Robert Dewey is introduced in the film in McLean, he is seen packing files away into a briefcase on his desk, and then having a phone conversation with Jeffers about the leak that has occurred. However, visible on Dewey's desk is a pad of paper with his mobile phone on, and the first sheet on that pad clearly has the scripted lines for Dewey's side of the phone call handwritten on them, possibly written by Tommy Lee Jones so he could remember his lines or read them between takes and then accidentally left in shot.
After the police truck entered the casino, Jason Bourne gets out of his car and continues the pursuit. Walking down a hill, the camera and operator are shown in the wet reflecting concrete.
The buses in Athens show their destinations in English instead of Greek.
In several scenes which are supposedly set in London, England, the characters are shown getting into/out of cars with the steering wheel on the left of the vehicle. In the UK the cars have the steering wheel on the right hand side.
When Bourne gets out of a train in Athens (which looks nothing like the actual ones), there's a sign above his head that completely misspells the word "Peiraias" (Piraeus).
The ZIP code of the Berlin address Bourne searched for in the Internet Cafe and that is later shown in the CIA's tracking software is wrong. In both scenes the numbers started with a 2 (putting the location in or around Hamburg), the correct one is 10405. In the Internet Cafe the ZIP code has 6 digits, German ZIP codes only have 5.
During the Las Vegas Strip chase scene, the SWAT vehicle and Bourne's vehicle are seen passing the entrance to Bally's when Bourne pulls a maneuver where he lands atop the SWAT vehicle and is subsequently pushed off when the SWAT vehicle crashes through the casino doors of the Riviera. However, the Riviera is much further down the Strip from the Bally's Casino.
Malware is uploaded to usb disk, but the files are already downloaded so you do not have to be connected to internet to have them decrypted. By being connected to internet you expose yourself.
Despite being from a world of spies where you should be aware the cameras are everywhere, neither Jason nor Nicky cover their face in any situation to make the automatic face recognition harder.
When the CIA cuts power to the hacker site in Iceland, every computer, monitor and laptop appear to go Dow. Any self respecting network admin would be running Uniteruptable Power Supplies. The laptops run on internal batteries. At the minimum, cutting the power might cut internet access but the routers and modems should be powered by UPSes too.
In the CIA base on Reykjavik where there's an entire team of hackers, one of them says "Use SQL to corrupt their databases". A hacker would never, ever say that but would say something along the lines of "Use an SQL exploit" and likely use the code name for the exploit.
Nicky Parson has enough field training to dye her hair dark or cover it. She would know that a blonde would stand out like a sore thumb in Greece where most women are brunette.
