A near perfect episode that improves on the previous ones

Despite not having read the books yet, the 1st season so far got me interested. The previous eight episodes ranged from above average to pretty good with standard fantasy cliches, but also some nice CGI/visuals and some decent enough characters. Safehold, however, is where the 1st season starts to get better. It's a near perfect one at that, but the story is improving as the characters face the upcoming battle between the Dagda Mor and the four lands. While Ander and the commander try to make an alliance with the Gnomes to fight against the demons, Bandon is still mind-controlled by the Dagda Mor which was stated in the previous episodes. The characters themselves are now getting interesting as they form a plan to defeat the demons once and for all. The writing is now improving as it provides some good chemistry from the actors particularly Wil Ohmsford, Amberle, and Allanon. The CGI/visuals continue to impress, the pacing is very good, and the music score continues to be beautiful which suits the drama very well. Overall, a near perfect episode, but a great one at that. :)

Ivana Baquero should be Princess

The Shannara chronicles season 1 episode 9 depicts the upcoming battle between the Dagda Mor and the four lands as the last leaf from the Ellcrys tree and their by freeing the demon army to finally attack the four lands after a lapse of 300 years. Whereas the Eretria, Amberle and Wil try to find the Bloodfire while searching in the tunnels of Safehold. Here I must say that the episode was good but I do not like the trolls, as they were weak in their appearance. On the other, hand Eretria played by Ivana Baquero is far prettier and sexier than Amberle played by Poppy Drayton. Eretria should have been the princess instead of Amberle. The show is good and I give it 9 out of 10.
