The Creeping

I actually saw this movie a couple of years ago. I'm wondering if it's actually based on a true story? I'm saying this now because It came back to my mind recently due to an experience I had. So I saw a strange image like this translucent face thing on the screen when I was playing around with my grandpa's old tube TV. Seriously. Then somebody knocked hard on the garage door where he keeps all his old stuff. When I lifted up the door, nobody was out there. It wasn't my imagination either and has never happened to me before. The experience was just like what I remember happening in the movie. This is why I'm wondering if the story is actually real or not?

After I had watched this to the end, I wasn't sure of my own sanity. I mean, technically there's more wrong in this movie than right. But some 'thing' kept me watching it. So here's why I think I didn't turn it off. It's actually creepy on some twisted subversive level - even though the plot only revolves around some 'thing' stalking a couple of idiots in an extremely claustrophobic space while they watch some 'thing' even stranger on what appears to be an old TV which doesn't make a whole lot of sense either...
