- Step inside a busy Bondi tattoo studio where tourists, backpackers and local hipsters flock to get inked. A brother and sister remember Mum and a Russian burlesque dancer shocks the staff.
- Welcome to Sydney's Bondi Beach. Here tourists, backpackers, and locals flock to a busy tattoo studio, run by flamboyant manager Josh. With a sharp eye for customer service and an even sharper tongue, Josh keeps everyone on their toes. Studio owner John is working the room. As a practical joker he attempts to make his clients feel at home. First client of the day is Anastasia - a Russian born pocket-rocket who is getting a cover-up of an old tattoo that she no longer wants. She keeps the studio entertained with tales of her burlesque dancing, a nipple-licking gay cat, and the number of men Anastasia has slept with. An Indian brother and sister want to commemorate their mother, who recently passed away. For Kartik, it's his second tattoo, but first timer Khyati is extremely nervous. As her session begins it seems that she may pass out from the anxiety and pain. Tattoo newcomer Bianca arrives with Mum. Bianca has just turned 18 and wants to get a birthday tattoo to celebrate. But this tattoo has a deeper meaning for both mother and daughter. Rockabilly couple Rusty and Ginger arrive in Bondi, all the way from the country town of Yass. They're keen to get matching tattoos that connect them together in ink forever. However Josh soon finds their gushing affection for each other hard to stomach. Anastasia breezes through her five hour tattoo, enjoying her view of the studio's male clients. But that comes to an end with the arrival of a special visitor. Just when the tattoo artists thought the day couldn't get weirder - it does.
