Dr. Scott flies to a neighboring island to help a new client whose dog has been hit by a car; yet again, Scott's plane is a life saver.

Dr. Scott does double duty taking care of his regular clients in addition to helping some animals displaced by a lava flow.

Dr. Scott cuts his birthday celebrations short to perform an emergency surgery. Later, he heads to Oahu to get close and personal with some tiger sharks for a research expedition.

There's a multitude of animals that need attention on Kauai, and Dr. Scott has his hands tied trimming beaks, fixing broken wings, and stitching up hunting dogs. After a bout with a nasty boar, Bujo's wounds prove to be life threatening. Scott and the girls visit Gilbert's farm and inoculate his herd of expressive goats. We meet Ella's uncle Randal, who has a pack of hunting dogs that help control the wild boar population on the island.

Scott tackles the ordinary to the extraordinary. Small issues, such as a chicken with an infected eye and a goat with mastitis, are easy enough for Doctor Sims. Larger issues are the ones that can be problematic. Scott's friend Robin has a horse with colic that's facing death, so Scott hoists him onto the operating table and gets to work. Luckily, he's able to handle this potentially life-threatening operation.

Dr. Scott lets down his hair and takes a wild ride to catch some feral cats, help save a neglected horse, and put on his inventor hat to give a two-legged dog a new way to get around.

Dr. Scott Sims, veterinarian on Kauai, Hawaii, is always on the move and never takes a break. While he keeps busy with emergency surgeries and house calls, his assistants Ella and Dia plan a surprise luau to celebrate the recent birthday he missed. Unfortunately, Scott is not a big fan of parties, and they must devise a secret plan to get Scott to the party.

Dr. Scott must deliver heartbreaking news to his client who must make a life or death decision for her best friend, a yellow lab named Roman.
