- Lydia Martin: [shakes her head with tears in her eyes] I won't! No, I won't. I won't!
- Stiles Stilinski: Lydia, you will. Just try to find some way to remember me, okay? Remember how you were the first girl I ever danced with? Or how I had a crush on you freshman year? Sophomore year? Junior year? Remember how you saved my life?
- Lydia Martin: You saved my life, too.
- [Stiles squeezes Lydia's hand as the Ghost Riders get close to his jeep]
- Stiles Stilinski: [whispers] Just remember. Remember I love you.
- Lydia Martin: [as she repeats the lyrics to the song she heard] Give this man a ride. Family will die. Killer on the road.
- Stiles Stilinski: Riders on the Storm?
- Lydia Martin: What?
- Stiles Stilinski: That's the song? "Riders on the Storm?"
- Lydia Martin: That's it!
- Stiles Stilinski: What's it?
- Lydia Martin: The Ghost Riders! The Wild Hunt. They come by storm, riding horses and they take people.
- Stiles Stilinski: Lydia, you're so smart I could kiss you right now.
- Lydia Martin: [makes a face and pulls away from Stiles] Do not kiss me.
- Stiles Stilinski: [quickly kisses Lydia on the cheek and runs away] Did it anyway!
- Natalie Martin: [When Scott and Stiles try to leave school early, but they get caught by Natalie] Neither one of you are going anywhere. Thirty-eight classes, Scott. I had to beg the superintendent!
- Stiles Stilinski: Mrs. Martin, Scott is the sworn protector of Beacon Hills!
- Natalie Martin: He can protect it at 3:30.
- [Stiles sighs; he and Scott turn to walk back to class; Natalie watches them as they walk away]
- Stiles Stilinski: [whispers to Scott] We're not waiting 'til 3:30.
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: [to Scott and Stiles] What in the hell were you two thinking?
- Scott McCall: We were just trying to help...
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: Why don't you try and help me understand what the hell happened here?
- Stiles Stilinski: Right. Well, we were trying to gently persuade him to pull over.
- Scott McCall: [nods his head] Yeah!
- Cube Truck Driver: [the scene cuts to a flashback of the driver of the truck screaming as Scott, who is wolfed out, rears back his clawed hand and scratches the paint of the hood on the truck] Demon!
- Scott McCall: [Scene cuts back to the present time] He was getting away?
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: [gives Scott and Stiles a look] He got away.
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: You want to guess what the stolen merchandise is? Hmmm?
- Stiles Stilinski: Critical life-saving medical equipment?
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: [shakes his head] No.
- Stiles Stilinski: Poison gas?
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: Nope!
- Stiles Stilinski: Filled with drugs...?
- Sheriff Noah Stilinski: Helium.
- Stiles Stilinski: Helium?
- [Sheriff Stilinski nods; Scott and Stiles look embarrassed about their mistake]
- Stiles Stilinski: I keep feeling like it's familiar, you know? Like I've heard it before.
- Lydia Martin: Pensée a civage? It's French for "a lingering thought you can't reach."
- Stiles Stilinski: [frustrated] Okay, well, is there a French word for "feeling an overwhelming sense of urgency and impending doom?"
- Scott McCall: We're all going off to college soon, so Beacon Hills is gonna have to survive without us.
- Stiles Stilinski: Beacon Hills will burn to the ground without us!
- Scott McCall: [sighs] Stiles, they don't need us.
- Stiles Stilinski: [Stiles' phone vibrates and he checks it; he looks excited and holds up the phone to Scott's face where Sherrif Stilinski's face is on the caller ID] Oh, they need us!
- Stiles Stilinski: Come on! Missing parents? Suspicious guy on horseback? Magic bullet? Who's coming with?
- Malia Tate: I have to retake my photos.
- Lydia Martin: Yeah. Not interested.
- Scott McCall: I cannot miss any more classes.
- Stiles Stilinski: Scott...
- Scott McCall: I missed 38 last semester.

- Scott McCall: And Lydia's mom is the only reason I'm still in school. I can go after school.
